Jungkook stretched his arms as sunlight gently kissed the walls of their appartment. The scent of morning air mixed with quiet, early-hour peace as he made his way to the kitchen. He wanted to do something nice. It was their first morning together after the wedding, after all. Something simple, like breakfast-warm toast, scrambled eggs, and the soft sweetness of honey tea.

He moved quietly, not wanting to wake anyone, humming under his breath while arranging everything neatly on a tray. Once satisfied, he carried it upstairs, balancing the tray carefully as he reached the familiar door of Jimin's room.

Without thinking much-perhaps still a little sleepy-he pushed the door open gently and stepped inside.

"Jimin, I made-"

He froze.

Jimin had just come out of the shower, hair damp and sticking to his forehead, water still glistening on the curve of his neck. He was midway through pulling a white shirt over his head, soft pajama pants hanging low on his waist, revealing just enough skin to make Jungkook's heart stutter in his chest.

Jimin turned toward him, equally startled. "Ah-Jungkook!"

"Oh god-" Jungkook quickly spun around, nearly dropping the tray. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't knock-! I just-I didn't think-!"

Jimin, cheeks flushing red, laughed softly behind him. "It's okay. I didn't lock it..."

"I swear I didn't see anything! I mean-not really-I just-I came to wake you up for breakfast," Jungkook said in a rush, eyes fixed firmly on the wall, ears bright pink.

Jimin smiled to himself, biting his lip shyly. "You can turn around now. I'm dressed."

Jungkook turned slowly, still flustered, and cleared his throat before holding out the tray like a peace offering. "I made breakfast. Thought we could eat together... like a normal married couple."

Jimin smiled, heart fluttering at the words. "That's really sweet."

Their hands brushed as Jimin took the tray, and for a second, neither of them said anything. But something warm passed between them-like the quiet beginnings of something bigger than either of them expected.

After a cozy breakfast and a flustered morning, Jungkook left the house for work, his blazer draped neatly over his shoulder, his expression calm as always-but somewhere under that calm, something was warm and fluttery.

Meanwhile, back at home, Jimin stood in the kitchen, staring thoughtfully at the leftover ingredients. He had taken the day off from university, telling himself he needed rest after the wedding-but really, he just wanted to do something for Jungkook. Something small. Something that might make him smile during his long day.

He decided on making gimbap and spicy fish cakes, one of Jungkook's favorites he remembered from a passing conversation.

A couple of hours later, Jimin, dressed in a simple cream sweater and jeans, walked shyly into the sleek building where Jungkook worked. He held the neatly packed lunch box nervously in both hands. The place was polished and professional-just like Jungkook.

"Um, excuse me..." Jimin approached the receptionist with a soft voice. "Can you tell me where Mr. Jeon's office is?"

The receptionist looked up, blinked in surprise, then smiled. "You must be Mr. Jeon's... spouse?"

Jimin's cheeks warmed. "Yes. I just brought him lunch."

The receptionist smiled brighter. "He's in the corner office, 15th floor. You can go straight in."

With a nervous heart, Jimin took the elevator up. The doors opened to a quiet corridor lined with glass offices, and at the very end, he saw Jungkook through the glass wall-speaking on the phone, looking serious and utterly beautiful in his black shirt, sleeves rolled up, one hand resting in his pocket.

Jimin softly knocked.

Jungkook looked up-and the moment his eyes met Jimin's, something gentle broke across his face. He quickly wrapped up his call and walked to open the door.

"Jimin?" he said, surprised but pleased. "What are you doing here?"

"I brought you lunch," Jimin said shyly, holding up the box. "You left in a hurry, and I thought maybe you hadn't packed anything..."

Jungkook looked at the box, then at Jimin, as his heart warmed completely.

"You didn't have to do that," he said, taking the lunch box from his hands. "But... I'm glad you did."

Jimin smiled, still unsure. "I can leave if you're busy, I just-"

"No." Jungkook stepped closer, gently grabbing his wrist. "Stay."

He walked Jimin over to the small table near his desk, set the lunch down, and gestured for him to sit. As they both settled, Jungkook opened the box and stared at the food like it was the most precious thing in the world.

"You really made this?"

Jimin nodded. "Yeah. I wasn't sure if you'd like it..."

Jungkook picked up a piece of gimbap, took a bite, and closed his eyes for a second. "It's perfect."

Jimin laughed softly, eyes shining. "You always say nice things."

"No," Jungkook said, opening his eyes and meeting Jimin's gaze. "I mean it."

There was a pause-a long one, as they just looked at each other. Jimin, seated beside the man he was still learning to know. And Jungkook, looking at the boy who was becoming more than just someone he married out of duty.

"I'm lucky," Jungkook said suddenly.

Jimin blinked. "Huh?"

Jungkook reached out, brushing a strand of hair behind Jimin's ear. "To have someone who cares this much... even when they didn't choose this."

Jimin's breath hitched, heart thumping. "Maybe we didn't choose this. But I think... I'm okay with where it's going."

Jungkook smiled, soft and genuine. "Me too."

And there, in a quiet office with city sounds beyond the glass, something gentle bloomed between them. Unspoken, but deeply felt.
