Still Alex's P.O.V

    Max and Simon tense up next to me, as I look up to see Daniel glaring down at me.

"Watch where your going, nerd." he growls

"Your the one that ran into me, you prick." I said glaring back at him. I was tired from getting beat up, that I wasn't paying much attention to what I am saying.

"Oh, so your ready for round two?" Dusk says smirking at me.

"You won't touch him!" Max said growling at Dusk.

"Oh, poor baby, you need someone to protect you, you must be a wimp." Derrick said in a voice you would use when talking to a small child.

"Well, he has more brains, than the three of you buffoons combined!" Simon stated with a small smirk.

There's so much tension in the air by this point, that you could cut it with a knife. I don't want Max or Simon to get hurt because of me. I sigh knowing what I have to do, even though I don't want to do it.

"Fine, Sorry for running into you." I told Daniel trying my best to be sincere. I try to walk by him, but feel a sharp pain in my arm.

"Oh, no you don't!" Daniel snarled at me, clenching his hand tighter, making his nails dig into my skin.

P-p-please l-let g-go." I stutter quietly.

I hear growling behind me and turn my head to see Max fighting off Dusk, and Simon being pinned down by Derrick.

"Stop struggling, or i'll kill him!" Daniel said emotionlessly towards my friends.

Simon and Max freeze, and  let Dusk and Derrick restrain them using a weak spell. I looked into their eyes, trying to apologize for my mistake.

'If only I wasn't so weak, I could've tried to prevent this.' I think to myself, but ill think of something, hopefully.

Daniel starts pulling me along the hallway, followed by Derrick dragging Simon, and Dusk holding an angry Max. We are led through the school, to the farther classes that aren't used unless some club goes in there. I've been thinking and I'm pretty sure I have a good plan by now. There is a fifty/fifty chance that it will work; if it does work, then were free, but if it doesn't work, then where going to have three enraged jocks after us.

All I need to do is signal Max and Simon, using a secret code we made up. I shake my head slightly, making my hood fall down off my head. I very slowly lifted my hand and moved my headphones off of my ears, letting them spring up, and moved them so there around my neck. I move my head at a angle, so I could see Max and Simon, and I start to move my ears.

Simon's P.O.V

Derrick was holding my arms behind my back as we walked. I was furious at them, are they kidnapping us or something?!?!? I look to my right to see how Max was holding up with this; it isn't good. He was glaring daggers at Dusk who was just smirking at him. I can tell Max is holding back all his rage to prevent Alex getting hurt anymore, but he will snap soon. We need a plan, and quickly, or else someone will get hurt really badly. I see a small amount of movement in the corner of my left eye. I turn, facing forward to see Alex moving his headphones from his head very slowly. Luckily, Daniel is too focused on our destination to really pay attention to Alex. He moved his head so he could see us, and moved his ears in our secret code language we came up with. If anyone sees us moving our ears, they wouldn't know that we were communicating, because it looked so natural.

'Guys, I have a plan, but its really risky ' Alex motioned to us

'It doesn't matter, Max will snap soon if we don't do anything' I replied

'Ok then, when I count to three using my ears, we will need to kick our captors in their spot, then Simon, you'll need to shoot a blinding spell of brightness on them, hopefully causing them to loose focus on us. Then we will have to run and meet at my house, were we will be safe until tomorrow.' Alex explains to us.

Alex looked to us, asking if its the plan. Max and I nod our heads, clarifying that we agree with it.

1...... I take a deep breath.

2..... I focus my energy, forming the spell

3.... I cast out the spell blinding them temporarily

Alex quickly moves forward, kicks Daniel in his area, and starts to run. I kick Derrick in his area and sprint down the hallways towards the exit. I hear Max and Alex close behind me. I burst out of the door and we run to Alex's house. We get to the door, when we hear a howl.
