Hello dear readers! I have decided you deserve a surprise Valentine's Day Gift! So, surprise! Happy Valentine's Day guys!
Chapter 12
"I can smell his fear, hear him shaking in his own skin." He hissed.
Actaeron was handed a metal staff by one of the bystanding hunters. He looked down at the staff as it felt unusually wet. It had been soaked in holy water. He rolled his eyes. How ridiculous and childish. What was next? A reading from the bible. He looked up at Salazar, who had cautiously taken a step back. He watched Excalibur from the corner of his eye, waiting for that small movement to signal to him to attack.
"I will only tell you once, Salazar. Leave my property." Excalibur said. Salazar smirked and shook his head.
"Or what, brother?" He replied, swaying his hips in a very sassy tone to his brother. At this point, Excalibur had enough. He looked at Actaeron and nodded.
Actaeron was already attacking before the demon could respond to him, hitting him in the neck. The young boy that had accompanied him ducked before running off to hide while Salazar had stumbled backwards, holding his neck as it burned.
"You win, brother." He said with a deep guttural growl before walking off, grabbing the hiding boy by his hair and dragging him along behind him while he struggled and cried in pain.
Both of the males took a deep breathe and Excalibur relaxed greatly. He turned to face every hunter that had come to watch the interaction.
"I want double the guards on all of the gates and possible entrances around the clock, is that understood?" The hunters saluted to him, knowing that he was not in the mood to fight and returned rather quickly to their posts, while Actaeron went back to the training arena to check on Elias. The boy was probably shaken up at this point.
Elias had hid himself in the corner, his black hair and clothing was perfect to hide himself. He had curled up tightly with his knees against his chest and his tail wrapped around his legs, the tip of it tapping the floor lightly. He winced at every single movement that occurred around him, and as Actaeron opened the door he began to cry.
Hearing the cries Actaeron slowly approached the sobbing male and kneeled down in front of him, putting his hand on his head. Elias seemed to nuzzle into the feeling of his hand and looked up at him.
"He is gone now, I can promise you that." He whispered giving him a soft and reassuring smile. Once Elias recognized who it was that was in front of him, he clinged to the male, letting the tears flow down his cheeks. The older male picked the small demon up as he was, clinging to his neck with his legs wrapped tightly around his waist. Actaeron was bothered by how Elias' tail was wrapped around his upper thigh, and even more, the tip of his tail was lightly brushing his inner thigh. However Actaeron left it alone, as Elias had already been through enough today.
In the room, Actaeron kicked the door close and went into the bathroom. He gently set him down and helped him to undress. The boy was shivering lightly, still holding onto himself nervously. The male gently led him to the bathtub and sat him down, running the water as hot as it could go to make the boy comfortable. Elias gently reached up and grabbed his hand as he was about to leave. Actaeron only sighed and sat down next to him, keeping Elias' hand inside his own.
Neither of them spoke, Elias just stared at the water and Actaeron was watching him closely. They only moved again when Elias whispered something about the water being cold. Actaeron stood up and gently slipped his hand away wrapping him in a towel and picked him up. The demon nuzzled up to him gently and shut his eyes. He must of been tired.
He put Elias down on the bed and offered him some clean, warm clothes but the small male only declined and curled up in the warm blankets.
"A-Actaeron, Can I ask you something?" He turned and looked Elias before walking to him and sitting on the bed. Elias slowly sat up, holding the blankets close to him.
"Just, don't hit me, alright?" The bow whispered quietly and brushed his hair out of his eyes.
"Why would I-" Actaeron's own question was cutting off by Elias' lips connecting to his. Actaeron didn't know what to do and could only watch him in shock for a few seconds before closing his eyes and embracing his kiss, lightly putting his hand on the side of the boys neck.
Elias was the first to turn away and looked up at Actaeron.
"...Good night, Actaeron." He said quietly. Actaeron smiled and stood up.
"Good night Elias."
