Monty POV....

It's been a week since Tae got here and well he's helping out as much as he can. Amiyah fell in love with him and they are inseparable. They hang out together, play together , hell sometimes they fall asleep together they so close.

It's good to see my cousin and my daughter getting along and loving on each other. I was getting out of the shower when I got a phone call. I looked at the number and it was Variah calling me. I contemplated not answering but I just decided to get it over with. I swiped to answer the call and said "What's up".

"Yeah I'm coming to pick up my daughter today so have her ready in an hour" she demanded with an attitude. I'm not up for Variah and her bullshit because today is going to be a great day. I'm hanging out with Tae and Amiyah all day so it'll be entertaining.

"Variah our daughter is spending the day with me and Tae so you can come if you want" I said nonchalantly because she can't just up and take our child somewhere. I won't let her ass think she can because if I do it once she'll think she can do it anytime.

"You know what I haven't seen my baby in awhile I'll have my nigga drop me off over there in an hour so I can join y'all I don't want that faggot rubbing off on my child" she said as she hung up the phone. She got Tae fucked up all the way. She better not disrespect him because he'll handle her ass.

I put my phone down and got dressed so I could at least have everybody ready by the time Variah gets here. I knew if Variah stepped out of line that Tae wouldn't do anything in front of my daughter. I knew he wouldn't but I just had to make sure he wouldn't.

I went to Tae guest room and banged on it because his music was blasting. "Hold up this my song cousin let me get it out chile..... WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO DOOOO KISS IT KISS IT BETTER BABYYY" he yelled out and after the song went off he opened the door.

His room smelled like watermelon and strawberry hookah vapor. "Tae you almost ready because Variah coming with us today" I said as he went back and lit up his hookah pen. He side eyed me and blew out smoke.

"Why is the mother of the minute coming she hasn't seen baby girl in how long?" he said with an attitude. I wasn't about to deal with possibly fighting Variah because it would lead to all types of trouble with her. "Tae chill she wants to spend time with her all of a sudden she is still her mother so I can't deny her" I said with sympathy filling my voice.

He rolled his eyes and took another puff of his hookah pen. "Whatever but if she steps out of line I'll gladly get her back in formation" he said like he wasn't worried about a damn thing. He is too damn much and it's crazy that he's really this damn nonchalant about stuff.

"Tae if she says anything out of the way I'll handle it just keep your mouth shut please for Amiyah" I said pleading with him because this is supposed to be a good day. He nodded and threw his hands up. I'm assuming that he is going to behave himself.

I walked out the room and closed his door. I was halfway down the hall when I heard him blast Knuck If You Buck. All I could do is shake my head because he's to damn childish. Variah is older than he is so she should be more mature however that won't happen.

I went to check on my baby girl so she could get ready. I opened her door and she was watching Spongebob and laughing her little ass off. She didn't even pay me any attention., I refuse to have my child watch this new Nickelodeon and Disney Channel bullshit. That shit is tragic and just dumb as hell.

"Baby girl guess who else is coming with us today?" I said walking in and sitting on her bed. She didn't respond to me so I just sat there and watched it with her. When it finally went off she said "Hey daddy". She smiled and hugged me tightly. "Oh now you see me huh?" I said mugging her as she smiled big and gave me a kiss on my cheek.

"Daddy it was my show on" she said squeezing my neck tightly and kissing me. I smiled because I couldn't control it that was my baby girl. I'm the same way when my shows is on. "Yeah yeah anyways mommy is coming with us today" I said as I watched her happy face frown up a bit.

"What's wrong Amiyah?" I asked putting her on my lap. She sat there as I shook her lightly still asking what's wrong with her. "She love me again?" she asked me. I sighed and hugged her a bit. "Baby momma never stopped loving you it's just she got some stuff going on with her and she had to go away for a bit she'll always love you" I said kissing her forehead.

She gave a faint smile and I did too. I don't want my child to think one of her parents don't love her. Variah I'm sure loves Amiyah with all her heart but I just don't get why she's so nasty and has a disgusting attitude. She wasn't like that when we first started fucking around. Then when Kenyamo went missing well shit his ass left me and I got with Variah she was still good.

It wasn't until she saw a girl and me me texting but it was only about on some friend shit and she flipped out on me. She was back the same but had her moments of being crazy as hell and now with all this shit about me fucking with somebody else is getting to her.

I don't think she's ready to be a mother at all but if she's willing to try I can oblige her then. "Alright daddy whatever you say" she said kissing me as the fairly oddparents came on TV. She jumped off my lap and sat in the floor in front of the TV and tuned me out. I left out shaking my head and laughing at her.

I heard a knock at my door and went to open it. I got downstairs and Variah was standing there looking like a hot ass hoochie. I was still attracted to her but I wouldn't fuck her because I know what would come with it. She turned around to the all white dodge chargee and blew a kiss in that direction.

The car honked and sped off down the street. "Where my baby at Monty?" she said with irritation sitting down on the couch. She crossed he legs and turned on the TV like she was at home. "She's upstairs watching her cartoons she'll be down in a bit then we all can leave" I said going to the kitchen to get some water.

I heard a door open and then heard Tae singing on his way downstairs. "Cousin where you at?" I heard him yell. I drank some of the water when I thought about who else was in that living room. "Bitch I don't know you so don't come for me and call me.out my name" Tae yelled loud enough for his echo to boom.

"Shut up I just don't want my baby around no gay nigga fuck that shit" she said standing up off the couch. I went to try and control the situation but they asses is too much so I hope the keep it together. "Chill out Variah Tae is a good cousin to our child and I trust him so give it a rest" I said walking in on them in each others faces. I stood in between them to calm both they psycho asses down.

"Fuck that shit I don't want him to be around my child so....oh hey mommy baby girl" she was saying with an attitude but she stopped when Amiyah came down the stairs. I swear Variah is drunk or high off something. This girl is losing her everlasting mind and I'm a bit nervous to have my baby around her.

"Hey mommy" Amiyah said smiling and running up to her. I guess what I said to Amiyah stuck with her because now she seems happy with Variah. "Oh baby girl you look beautiful more and more like me each day just gorgeous" she said kissing her forehead. Amiyah smiled and it made me feel good to see my child so happy.

"Thanks mommy you beautiful too" Amiyah said hugging her by her waistline. "Awww how cute now y'all let's go so we don't miss our day of fun" Tae said opening the door and Amiyah and Variah walked out holding hands. I grabbed the keys and walked out with Tae.

"Is it just me or is she on some other level of weird?" Tae asked me as we walked to the car. I shook my head as I thought about the possible ways today could go left. "Yeah cousin she's off something but I pray this day goes well for Amiyah" I said going around to the drivers side.

Tae got inside and so did I. "So where we going again?" Variah said irritated but playing with Amiyah at the same time. She's so fucking fake and crazy it's sick. "Well WE were going to take her to a movie of her choice then to Chuck E Cheese and then out to eat to Golden Corral" Tae said looking into his phone.

He didn't want Variah there and neither did I but it's her mother I suppose so I'll have to stomach it. "Sound dull but if baby girl wanted to do it let's go Monty" she said taking out her phone and playing with Amiyah. They were playing games on her phone and having bonding time if that's what you wanna call it.

We pulled up to the movies and she wanted to see a Barbie movie and Tae ass was just as happy as she was to see it. We got out and went into the building. It was nice as hell in here I must say. We all went to the counter and paid to see this damn movie. I wanted to see an action movie but Amiyah gets what she wants and that's it.

I grabbed our tickets and we then went to the concession stand and got some snack for the movie. We went to the theatre and Tae sat next to baby girl while I was stuck next to in between Variah and Tae. The movie came on and I was immediately in need of a nap. I looked over at Tae and Amiyah they was just all in the movie.

I looked over at Variah who was into her phone messaging another man. I didn't care but she could at least have some type of respect. "Get out of my phone Monty" she said sighing then looking at me. I shook my head and looked at the screen. I leaned my seat back since sit was a recline chair. I tilted my hat and dozed off listening to this bullshit of a movie.

I was knocked out cold the last thing I remember hearing was "Awee Ken thank you". I was shooken out of my sleep and I jumped up. "What happen?" I said moving my hat from my face. I got up and stretched then saw the end credits rolling. Amiyah was looking at me laughing so I started chuckling too.

"You must've been tired or the movie was that boring" Tae said laughing with Amiyah. Variah was standing off to the side talking to some nigga. "I was tired let's go with that one" I said walking with Tae and Amiyah behind me. They were talking about the movie and singing the songs I'm assuming was in the movie.

We didn't pay Variah any attention because she would catch up if she wanted to. "Baby girl did you enjoy the movie?" I asked looking back at her holding Tae hand. "Yeah daddy now I can't wait to go to Chuck E Cheese" she said jumping up and down happily. I loved seeing my daughter this happy.

That movie wore my ass out and I didn't even do shit. However, as long as Amiyah is happy I'm good. We walked out the theater and went to the car. When we started to get into the car Variah was yelling rushing out the theatre.

"Here comes the mother thot of the second" Tae mumbled under his breath. Amiyah was put into the car by Tae and Variah walked up after Amiyah was all strapped in. I just got into the car and didn't pay her any attention. She mugged Tae as he walked past her to get into the passenger side.

I just started up the car and drove to the Chuck E Cheese that I preferred. It wasn't filled with ratchet dust buckets but nice and clean plus it was in a good neighborhood. Amiyah was yelling as soon as she saw the building. She was too excited and I started laughing.

I got out and grabbed her and Tae and Variah followed. I walked in the building and I stepped to the counter to pay for all of us. Tae came up and we went half on it for me. We got what we needed and Amiyah was highly anxious. I had to keep her by me so I could get her some tokens. "Daddy daddy I wanna go play to the games" she kept tapping and grabbing onto my shirt.

"Yeah I wanna go to the games too hurry up" Tae said pulling my shirt being a big ass little kid. I side eyed him and laughed at his puppy dog eyes. He's so damn childish I can't handle it. I got a shit load of tokens and handed them a cup full of coins. They took off into the building and left me standing there with Variah.

I went and found a booth for us all. I sat down and Variah sat across from me. "So Tae seems to be very close to Amiyah huh?" she said breaking the silence between us. I hope she's not going to the left with this shit. It's not.going to start I'll get up and walk away from her.

"Yeah and if you have a problem deal with it they are cousins so leave them alone" I said taking out my phone. She sighed and leaned back on the seat. "I'm just looking out for her I just don't know if someone like that is goof for our child that's all I'm saying" she said with an noticeable attitude. I'll let Tae handle her ass since she wanna keep bringing him up and dogging him.

"Listen he's a good person I love my cousin I wouldn't have anyone bad around her so like I said leave them alone" I said getting up and walking around to find Amiyah and Tae playing a racing game.

"Hey y'all" I said standing in between them. Tae was losing yo Amiyah and I was enjoying it because he was upset. "Get him baby girl" I said cheering her on. She passed the finish line in first place and Tae came in 4th. He got up mad as hell and I was dying laughing.

"Whatever y'all think that's funny it's not she cheated" he said fixing his shirt. Amiyah folded her arms and said "no I didn't you just bad at it". I died laughing and Tae jaw hit the floor. It was hilarious that he let her out talk him. "Go play something but stay where I can see you" I said and Amiyah rushed away to the fun house.

"So what was y'all talking about?" Tae asked me. I just shook my head and started playing the crocodile game. "Not a lot she's just so damn annoying she feels she's the only one that's raising Amiyah and I'm doing most of the work" I said hitting the shit out of the crocodile as it came out.

"Well tell that hoe that shit then fuck her you're her father and she's the egg donor don't let her punk you cuzzo" he said bopping the crocodile and I ended up winning. I grabbed the tickets and put them in my pockets. We walked over to the fun house and saw Variah playing with Amiyah.

We just stood off to the side as Amiyah smiled and waved at us. Variah looked at us pissed and I looked at Tae face and shook my head. I knew he wanted to say alot of shit to her but he wouldn't because they aren't alone together yet. We went and played some more games for a few hours and then gathered and left.

On the way to the car I noticed Variah was being very unusually close to Amiyah. It's like when Tae would try to play with Amiyah Variah would distract her from what very Tae was saying. He just left it alone but I knew Tae was pissed off. She's just being a petty bitch for no reason. We got into the car and while driving I heard some light snores coming from the backseat.

Tae looked back and said "she's sleep so let's take her home and put her to bed" Tae said and I nodded agreeing with him. Variah smacked her lips and I saw Tae shaking his head and he started tapping his fingers. I pulled up to the house and got out to grab Amiyah. I picked her up and started to lock up the car. "I got it" Tae said about to grab Amiyah so I could lock.up the car.

"Don't let him touch her" Variah said coming around to the driver side. Tae looked at her like she was crazy. "Bitch what you mean? I've been helping him while you've been bopping and doing god knows what" he said and she looked at me shocked.

"So you telling.this faggot pur business now?" Variah spat at me. Oh shit she didn't just call him the F word. She took it too fucking far for me now. I just walked away and took Amiyah in the house so she wouldn't have to hear the yelling that was about to happen.

"Faggot? Bitch with your roast beef pussy ass don't come for me because I'll send bitches to sleep you" Tae yelled as I was walking up.the stairs. I just rushed up the stairs and put Amiyah down. I took her jeans and shoes off and pulled the cover over her. I kissed her and I heard something crash outside.

I eased out of her room and closed the door lightly. I ran downstairs to see them yelling and throwing shit at each other. "Bitch you must want to fight tonight" Tae said walking up on her. I ran and held him back so wouldn't anything happen.

"Fuck you bitch I'm taking my child and we're gone for good" Variah said about to walk up.the stairs. I rushed and grabbed her off them stairs. "No the fuck you not that's my child up there you left her and now want to play mommy of the year fuck on" I yelled at her.

She folded her arms and tilted her head. "Oh so I didn't push her out my pussy? I wasn't in labor for hours on end? That's my child bitch" she said trying to rush past me. I stood in her way and blocked her from getting past me. "Fuck on bruh I was there through all that shit so fuck on she's happy here" I said moving her back off me.

"Daddy what's going on?" Amiyah said stand at the top.of the stairs. All I could do was look at her. Baby go.get your stuff your coming with mommy for awhile" Variah said flipping her hair. I looked at her and back at Amiyah. She was about to cry and I didn't know what to say.

"No I'm staying with daddy I don't want to go with you" she yelled and ran upstairs. She slammed her door and we just stood there. "You turned my child against me?"she said angrily at Tae. She started to charge at him.but I stopped her.

"Nobody turned her against you she just don't want to be with you now leave my house" I yelled at her. She stopped and looked so.angry her head could've spun around. She walked to the door and opened it. "Fuck this shit take care of her" she said closing the door behind her.

I felt my heart break because I think.she just made me a single father. "Monty it'll be okay you'll be fine I'm here for you" Tae said and I just went upstairs and sat on the bed. She can't walk out on Amiyah like that. This day was ruined from the jump. I just want my child to have both parents but I guess things don't work out the way you want.

Okay y'all I'm dead ass sorry about the long wait I'm trying to balance work, a relationship, and friends and then writing has to fit in and I finally found a happy medium.

I'm getting better so I won't tell y'all when the next update is just know it won't be two weeks until.you all get it.

Again I'm sorry and the book is halfway done it has like 10 or 12 more chapters left if.that much. So the drama will increase heavily.
