[Let me know what you think! Enjoy! May<3]
Chapter Six
The librarian wasn't able to give the boys much assistance. She suggested that they narrow down their search a bit more. So once again they were back to the fact that they knew nothing of Ghost's past and had no way to figure it out without some other clue on what to look for.
Since they knew Ghost had to of been associated with their school, Sean and Quinn decided to start asking around, maybe someone will know something. They came up with a plan to interview teachers about missing persons cases. Quinn figured they'd be more then happy to help if the students were do research for a school project. Teachers loved when students became actively involved in their homework.
So far they had talked to about 3 different teachers, choosing the older ones that would have been here eight years or more. Each one had had similar answers.
They mostly got a “I'm sorry I have not heard of any missing people or children in the surrounding area.”
One of the teachers got excited about their research and tried to give them more ideas to write about. He told them that many children run away so that would be some statistics to look up and 'also check the larger cities stats to compare to their own.' As nice as the mans help was, it did not actually pertain to them. To be that guys seem to really want to help with the 'paper.'
They approached Mr. Wallace next, he was a younger teacher but he had still been here for about ten years or so. This was the guy everyone seemed to like, Quinn didn't understand that but whatever.
“Mr. Wallace?” Sean asked knocking on the door frame to signal their presence.
“Yes? How can I help you boys?” The teacher said with a charming and encouraging smile. Quinn figured that had a lot to do with his status, he really was as nice as possible to everyone.
“We were wondering if we could question you for our research paper.” Quinn answered.
“Its about missing persons.”
“Oh, well that seems like an interesting topic.” He looked at them curiously, probably never hearing of a teacher that assigned it. Quinn mentally crossed his fingers, hoping they wouldn't get caught in a lie. That would get people asking them questions they didn't have a sane answer to.
“Well let's hear them!” Mr. Wallace looked happy to help once again.
“We were asking around to see if anyone had knowledge of any missing children. Ones that may have gone to school here in the past.”
Mr. Wallace looked at them oddly before answering, “Sorry boys, I've been here over ten years now and I don't ever remember any students that have gone missing. Can't help ya. I've got to get back to my grading so I'll see you in class.”
We walked out of the classroom feeling down, no one seemed to know anything.
They had time in the free period to ask one more teacher. They were going to the oldest teaching the school now. Mrs. Murphy had been here for over thirty years. Sean's parents had told him once in passing that they knew her from their time here.
AS they walked down the hall the boys heard a squeaking sound. One that seemed to be following them all day. Sean looked behind him just in time to catch the Janitor looking their way. He shivered feeling as if he had been watching them all day.
“Let's get done with Mrs. Murphy and then I want to check out that Janitor.” Sean said quietly to Quinn.
“Ok,” Quinn agreed glancing nervously behind him. He had noticed their stalker as well.
When they question Mrs. Murphy they found out a big reason as to why many teachers would not know about a missing child a lot of times.
“We aren't always given a reason as to why the students have left.” She told us. “Kids come and go all the time, some stay for only a few days and others for years. Sometimes we are informed that the students have moved or changed schools, but usually that is from the other students. If a child did not have many friends or the parents never informed the school as to why they did not attend school or were taken out, then we never know. As long as the parents or guardians confirm the office that the children are no longer attending they had no real reason. So it is possible a missing child may go under the radar at school if the parent doesn't inform us. But I don't see what parent would not want everyone to look for a missing child.”
She smiled at them as she continued with her business, thinking that she had eased the boy's minds about there not being a missing child here. What she didn't was her words put an uneasy feeling into the stomachs. Could Ghost have been a neglected child? Were his parents ones that did not care to look for their missing child?
As they walked out of the teacher's room, Sean caught the retreating back of the stalking Janitor and decided now was a good time to see what he was up to.
Quinn followed Sean as quietly as possible. Did this man know something about Ghost, or another missing child? Maybe he could help them. Or maybe he is a sick freak that wants to hack us to bits. Quinn shook himself mentally. Those thoughts are from watching too many scary movies.
The Janitor proved to be took quick for them though as the lost track of him. The circled the school but found him nowhere. As the started back for their classes, Quinn caught site of the Janitor's closet.
“Hey.” He grabbed Sean's arm and pointed to the closed door. Ignoring the tingles in his hand as best as possible. “Maybe we can find some of his things in there?”
“Maybe.” Sean agreed.
Looking around to check that the coast was clear, Sean pulled Quinn into the closet. They flipped on the light, but were met with only the normal cleaning supplies need for the job. No personal effects seemed to be present.
Quinn sighed, “Well there went my plan, there's nothing here to help us. Unless the mop can tell us who the guys is.”
Sean laughed at his friend. “It's ok we can figure that out later.”
As he turned to leave Sean found himself no more then an inch away from Quinn. Neither had realized how close they had gotten to each other. Quinn looked from Sean's eyes to his mouth, swallowing thickly as he tried to fight with himself not to do anything stupid. No need to ruin a new promising friendship just because those lips were irresistible.
Quinn's heated breath moved across Sean's face and he knew he was a goner. He had wanted this since that moment in the library. It couldn't hold it any longer.
Sean moved in, brushing his lips softly against Quinn's. Asking permission from the other man, hoping that he wouldn't be refused.
Quinn moaned at the contact of those soft lips against his and sank in. They reacted quickly to the contact. Quinn's hands moving to clench Sean's shirt, holding on tight as Sean's hands circled around his head, holding him in place for the kiss.
Quinn couldn't stop his tongue from coming out to play, licking roughly at Sean's lips. Sean groaned at the bold move from the other boy, allowing him to slip inside and tangle with his own tongue. Slick and sliding the dueled back and forth, first in Sean's mouth ten to Quinn's. The small closet filled with the sounds of the heavy panting and breathy moans and groans.
This was wonderful Quinn though. He had never had this, from boy or girls. He had always dreamed of it, but no one paid much attention to him to warrant an amazing kiss.
Sean was having similar thoughts of wonderment. Glorying in the impact the kiss had on him when no others had come remotely close. He had tried to find someone, any one to make him feel what he thought he couldn't feel. Sean most definitely knew he was not asexual now. The kiss was by far to amazing.
As they started to heat up more, Quinn started to move his hands down, hoping to get a feel of the skin beneath Sean's shirt. He wanted to follow that happy trail, but he knew that was too soon for either of them.
Just as his hand came in contact with Sean's heated flesh, the door whipped open revealing the Janitor to the shocked boys.
