You know the kind of person who needs 2 hours worth of alarms to be able to wake up in the morning? That's Ben Henderson, they all weren't a match for him starting at 6 am all the way to 7 he'd always stop them all just to fall back asleep. But this morning he got the best alarm of them all.

After his shower, Mackie walks into his room with his towel around his waist to find Ben still sleeping. Getting close he sits leaning towards Ben's neck and gently starts kissing him to wake him up. The action works, "wake up" Mackie whispers in his ear kissing his cheek.

Once he's woken up Ben moans at the sensation on his neck turning him on, "what would I have to do for you to wake me up like this every day?" He asks with eyes closed and hands running over Mackie's naked chest.

"Absolutely nothing" Mackie answers, "these are free."

"For everyone?" He opens his eyes

Mackie chuckles pulling away "no just you babe" he stands.

Noticing how great Mackie's backside looks as he walks to his drawers Ben grins, standing up only wearing Mackie's shirt and his underwear, Ben walks over to his boyfriend "last night was perfect," he stands behind Mackie as he searches for a pair of underwear. Kissing the boy's back Ben wraps his arms around Mackie

Turning he holds Ben's face "it was amazing" he kisses Ben. "Now go shower we have to leave soon the drive is long."

"Ok," Ben sighs.

After getting ready they leave Mackie's house "I'll be right behind you, ok?" Mackie says as he kisses Ben

Ben nods, running across the street to his mom's car Ben gets in and Mackie puts on his helmet getting on his bike.

They pull off and Mackie follows Ben like he says, they're both in the best mood not much could ruin their day today. As he's driving with Mackie a few cars behind him Ben gets to an intersection with a yellow light, determined to make it he speeds up a little but doesn't get past the intersection because a turning car from the opposite direction almost veers into him. "What the fuck!" Ben barks at the person stopped next to him, "you almost hit me, dick! What's wrong with you?!" He argues

"It was my light too!" The man argues back

"If you had hit my car dude shit would've sucked for you I swear!"

As Ben argues with the man other cars drive around them honking to get them to move, stuck at the light Mackie watches the whole thing waiting for that light to change to go make sure Ben's ok. As he sits there Mackie sees something out of the corner of his eye, coming in full speed a car heading right for Ben. Pushing up the shield on his helmet Mackie screams "BEN MOVE!" He pulls out of the line driving towards Ben trying to get to him before the car. "BEN!" He yells and all of a sudden the car rams right into Ben. Everyone gasps and Mackie quickly yanks off his helmet, getting off his bike he takes off running. "Ben!" He yells at the boy passed out on the wheel, running up to the car he opens the door pulling Ben's body out. "Ben get up!" People start to crowd around the intersection, "someone call the police!" Pissed off Mackie stands running up to the car that hit Ben "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!" He yells yanking the man out of his car "WHY WERE YOU DRIVING SO FUCKING FAST?!" He holds the scared man by the collar seconds away from hitting him

"I- I'm sorry I didn't see them" the man shakes, raising his fist to hit the man Mackie doesn't get a chance because he's pulled away.

"Get off me!" He screams as strangers hold him back

"Hey, it's not worth it," someone says "do you know him?" They point to Ben's body on the floor

Turning Mackie sees him and it all hits, Ben's really hurt "yes" he nods tears filling his eyes.

Sitting in the hospital room with Ben, Mackie is afraid to get close feeling like this is all his fault. At the help desk, Ben's parents rush in, "hi we got a call our son was in an accident and was brought in here" Ben's dad asks

"What's his name?"

"Benjamin Henderson," he answers

She types then reads, "I see says he was brought in by his boyfriend, should be in room seven through those doors."

"I'm sorry boyfriend?" His mom asks surprised "Ben doesn't have a boyfriend" the nurse shrugs and they walk away, walking into the room Ben's mother gets a sight of him on the bed and rushes over to her son tears rolling down her cheeks. As she cries both her and her husband turn to Mackie who stood up as soon as they walked in, "who are you?"

"Mackenzie Denver?" 2 officers walk in the room asking for Mackie

"That's me," He turns to them.

"I'm officer Mathieson and this is officer Espinosa. We were told at the scene that you witnessed the accident, and that you're personally acquainted with the victim, is that correct?"

"Yeah I am" he moves towards them,

"Could you tell us what happened?" The officers wait for the story and conveniently so do Ben's parents

"Um we were leaving my house to head to school -"

"Wait your house?" Ben's mom asks "why was he with you?"

"Ma'am I'm sorry if you could let him finish before you ask questions."

They all turn to Mackie "I was a few cars behind him and we got to this intersection, the light was yellow so he tried to make it but this other car turning almost hit him. So, Ben and the other person stop at the intersection yelling at each other, and as I'm on my bike I see this other car going way over the speed limit heading right for Ben. I tried to yell and tell him to move out of the way, but I was too late because the car hit him."

"That's it?" The officer asks and Mackie nods, reading from his notepad he asks, "some people at the scene said they had to stop you from attacking the driver, is that true?"

"Y-yeah but I didn't hit him just pulled him out of the car."

"All right, thank you for this but we're going to need a written statement when you're done here, all right?"

"Ok."

"You must be the parents?" The officers walk away from Mackie who takes the moment to step out of the room. He's pretty sure he just got Ben in trouble, and this is definitely not how he wanted to meet Ben's parents for the first time. Standing against the wall he waits until the cops are done talking to his parents.

As he's outside the room the doctor walks up to him, "mom and dad finally showed up?" She asks Mackie

"Yes they're in there now," he replies and the doctor walks in.

The doctor starts to give Ben's parents the good news and his dad walks out of the room joining Mackie, "so who are you?" He asks as Mackie is leaned against the wall

"I'm Mackenzie Denver, sir" Mackie stands straight reaching his hand out for Ben's dad to shake.

As he's shaking Mackie's hand, "how are you dating Ben? He's never even mentioned your name before," his dad asks confused

"He wanted to wait until he was ready, he'd say that if he's unsure about me there's no way you'll accept me."

"Yeah that sounds like Ben" he stands there examining Mackie, tall, dark hair, doesn't seem approachable but is decent-ish. "You're not Ben's type" he comments

"I know" Mackie replies,

"Then what is it about you? I mean Ben tells us everything, so if he was hiding you there must be a reason." Not knowing how to answer Mackie stays quiet

As they stand there Ben's mom comes to the door, "hon he's waking up" she says and he rushes in. Hearing the news Mackie's heart beat speeds up, he's nervous about how Ben is going to explain this but glad because he didn't want something to be really wrong.

As he slowly opens his eyes, Ben starts to groan at the pain coming from his right arm, it's definitely broken. "Mom" he sees her, "dad?" He pans to his father. "What happened?"

"Ben honey you were in a car accident," his mom explains as he scans the hospital room. Looking over at the chair he sees Mackie's helmet and jacket. His mom sees him eyeing the helmet, "that your friend's?"

He looks at his upset mom and worried dad, "I can explain."

"Yes Ben please explain to us how you lied, never told us you had a boyfriend, and ended up here."

"Give him some time he's hurt," Ben's dad tries to calm his mom down.

"You're right" she sighs, coming closer she strokes his face "you scared us, Benji."

"I'm so sorry" Ben frowns about to cry. He gasps remembering "oh god the car!"

"Don't worry about that Ben you're all that matters,"

He nods trying to calm down and stop crying, "um" he clears his throat, "where is he?" He asks hinting at Mackie's helmet

"Outside," his dad answers.

"Can I see him please?" Ben asks and his dad nods walking to the door

"Hey," he signals Mackie to come in.

Stepping back they watch their son interact with the stranger, walking in Mackie's eyes land in Ben's and they smile. "hi" Ben greets.

"Hi?" Mackie sighs walking closer, "never do that again."

"I'm sorry" Ben apologizes, "I heard you calling me and telling me to move but everything happened so fast."

"You scared the crap out of me, Benjamin Quinn" Mackie gets closer taking his left hand, "I thought I lost you."

Ben's heart breaks seeing his boyfriend's sad face "it's ok Mackie, I'm ok."

Watching their interaction Ben's mom sees something she's never seen in her son before, real love. She could feel their love for each other and it made her somewhat happy, all a parent truly wants for their child is real love and happiness.
