"That's so fucking official," Ali says as Ben shows them the key to Mackie's place, "and he just said to come whenever you want?"

Ben nods "yeah but not today because he's busy,"

"I can't believe I'm gonna say this but Denver's not so bad he has a job and a place, better than my boyfriend."

"Ali, Eric's a 20-year-old loser who lives in his parent's basement, anyone's better than him," Brooke comments and Ben tries not to laugh.

"Right so your boyfriend's better than him too huh? Oh wait I forgot you don't have one"

"By choice!" Brooke argues back "and whatever you don't always need a boyfriend right, Ben?"

"Don't ask him, he's never been single"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Ben asks

"It means you dumped Jeremy just to be with Denver"

"No, I didn't! I broke up with Jeremy because he's a douchebag, anyways enough about that asshole. What should I do about Mackie? We've been together two months and I can't keep making out I need more, and I know he wants it too he's just busy."

The 3 friends think of the perfect way to get Ben alone time with his boyfriend. "I got it!" Brooke exclaims "you know the address to his place even though you've never been there, right?" Ben nods "ok so why don't you go over there to surprise him when he gets home, and just spend the night."

"Yeah, you can lie to your parents and say you're at one of our houses" Ali inputs.

"That's not a bad idea, but I mean how am I gonna get there? It's almost an hour away,"

"I'd give you my car but my parents would get suspicious, and I have to pick Jamie up after school every day so I'm out."

"What about your mom? Or Serena?" Ali asks

"Serena would never let me keep her car overnight but maybe my mom would"

"Then when she gets home today tell her you need to come to my house for a project, and you're gonna sleep over so you'll just drive yourself to school the next day," Ali explains and Ben listens to every detail.

"That might just work," he says might because it's hard for him to lie to his parents. but he wants Mackie so bad he'll just have to risk it.

School is over and Mackie pulls up to Ben's house, "when I get home after watching my brothers I'll call you ok?"

"Ok" Ben leans over kissing him, "have fun" he gets out of the car.

"Thanks," waiting until he's inside Mackie pulls away heading to Denver Auto to pick up his little brothers and mom.

Sitting at dinner with his parents Ben starts, "mind if I spend the night at Ali's? Brooke's gonna be there too, we need to work on an art project for class." He keeps his head down looking at his plate as he lies.

"Sure want me to drop you?" His mom asks

"Actually I was also gonna ask if I can borrow your car, and just drive myself to school tomorrow from Ali's." He waits for her to say no and as she's thinking he adds, "it'll be good practice for when you guys finally get me my own car."

"We never said yes to that," his dad adds

"But you never said no either, mom can I take the car?"

"Sure but be careful, Ben."

"Thank you," he takes his plate to the kitchen running to his room to get his things. "Ok see you guys tomorrow love you bye."

"Behave Ben!" His mom yells as he rushes out the door.

Getting in the car he drives away, as he's driving he calls Mackie "hey hows bowling?"

"Great, what are you doing?"

"Oh um, homework" he quickly lies,

"Ok, call you when I get home?"

"Sure" Ben hangs up and a sneaky grin grows on his face.

Getting to the house Ben parks across the street walking over to the front door, unlocking it Ben walks in only to be greeted by the sight of Maeve on the couch. "Hi" he smiles "you must be Maeve?" He asks shutting the door

"And you must be a stranger with a key..."

"I'm not I'm Ben, Mackie's boyfriend."

"Oh right!" She stands excited "it's so nice to finally meet you," Maeve runs towards Ben hugging him. "Mackenzie talks about you all the time!"

"Yeah you too, kinda weird he wouldn't let us meet."

"He wouldn't let us meet? Why?" Maeve asks as she cleans up

"He thought I'd hate you," Ben answers honestly.

"That's crazy" she laughs. "But he isn't here right now and I have to head to work"

"I know I wanted to surprise him when he gets back. I'm gonna wait in his room if you could point me to where that is"

"Yeah sure, follow me" she walks and Ben follows, "so did he tell you about how we met?"

"Yeah the thing with his brother, I've met Harley he's no one you'd want around."

"I believe it. I just can't believe his own family would do that, and Mackenzie seems like such a great person."

"He is."

They get to Mackie's door "this is it, the bathroom's right here and feel free to anything. Any boyfriend of Mackenzie's is a boyfriend of mines," she chuckles at her joke and Ben smiles thinking about how weirdly welcoming she is.

"Thanks" he opens the door walking into Mackie's room. Looking around he takes in the clean kept room, and how nicely Mackie's bed is made. Dropping his bag on the bed Ben opens it and starts to set up.

Driving home after dropping his mom and brothers back at the shop, Mackie takes out his phone calling Ben and putting it on speaker. He calls a couple of times to no answer, it's night so he assumes Ben is probably just sleeping. Getting home after the long drive Mackie parks going inside "Maeve?" He drops his keys, realizing he's alone Mackie walks to the fridge grabbing a beer. He pops the cap off and chugs heading for his room.

Noticing the light in his room on Mackie wonders if he left it on this morning, opening his door "shit!" He's scared by the boy sitting on his bed

"Hi" Ben smiles,

"Ben?" He looks around confused by the candles and soft music playing, "what are you doing here?"

"It was a surprise, are you surprised?"

"Yes" Mackie shuts the door dropping his beer down somewhere, "is this why you wouldn't answer the phone?"

"Maybe," standing up Ben walks towards Mackie, "figured I could put my gift to use and maybe visit, might even spend the night."

"Really?" Mackie raises an eyebrow as he takes his jacket off

"Yeah just think of all the things that can happen tonight," Ben stops in front of Mackie wrapping his arms around the boy, they bring their lips close and gently start to kiss.

A gentle kiss quickly heats between these 2, Ben couldn't keep his hands away from Mackie's body reaching under the boy's shirt, and Mackie's hands hold Ben close by the waist. "I've been thinking about this so much lately" Ben breathes out as Mackie kisses his neck not knowing how much Ben likes that. Backing their way to the bed Ben lays Mackie down then gets on top bending over as they continue to kiss. The moment is perfect so going all the way is definitely a guarantee.

Of course Ben was nervous about being naked in front of Mackie for the first time, what if his body wasn't perfect for him? What if his ass wasn't anything Mackie was used to? Maybe Mackie liked bigger asses he thinks, but Ben didn't get that everything about him is what Mackie wants. Once Ben's shirt was off Mackie didn't neglect to kiss his stomach to show him how great he thinks it is, or when he pulls off Ben's pants and trails kisses from his legs to his hips making his way back to the boy's lips.

Laying on his back with Mackie crouched over between his legs the boys are naked and ready, as they're kissing "are you sure?" Mackie whispers and Ben nods smiling

"If we could just start slow I don't want it to hurt," this isn't Ben's first time but Jeremy clearly didn't compare.

"Of course, I'm not going to hurt you I promise" Mackie kisses him. After getting the condom on Mackie slowly drives himself into Ben, pausing with every push because of how deep Ben's nails are digging in his back and the expression on his face. Mackie starts slowly to make sure he isn't hurting the boy

"Sorry" Ben breathes out.

Mackie kisses him "it's ok" he smiles making Ben feel better, "we've got all night we can take our time."

With Ben legs wrapped around his waist, Mackie continues slowly entering him and kissing each other in the process.

In the middle of the night, Ben sleeps comfortably in Mackie's arms while Mackie is up worried, he's thinking about them having sex and even though it was everything for him, he still has a lot to be worried about. Looking at Ben's sleeping face Mackie leans close, "Ben" he whispers. "Are you sleeping?"

"I'm trying to," Ben replies eyes shut.

"I can't sleep, I keep thinking about what your family would think about us being together"

"Sshhh" Ben pulls Mackie close caressing his hair, "don't think about that now, get some sleep."

Laying his head close to Ben's, Mackie stares at the boy who hasn't bothered to open his eyes once. "What if I'm not enough?"

"Oh my god Mackie stop it" he finally opens his eyes, "you're enough ok? Even if they don't think you are, I say you are. All right?"

In the softest voice, Mackie replies "all right."
