It may have been the coldest night I've ever felt before. The wind was blowing gently but it still had me shaking in my shoes as I wrapped my arms around myself to keep warm. I was waiting for Austin to come back outside because he claimed he needed something really important before we were off on his so-called adventure.

After a few minutes of shaking from the cold, Austin came out with a drawstring bag and a big smile on his face. He walked down the steps and joined me. I looked at him curiously, wanting to ask what took so long and why exactly he had what he had, but I knew better, he wasn't going to tell me no matter how many times I asked. So, without another word or a question, we began walking. I hugged my arms tighter to my body as the wind picked up slightly, sending even more chills down my spine. Austin happily wrapped an arm around my shoulder, kissing the side of my head as he directed us around to where we were going.

We were walking for a while and curiosity got the better of me. I wanted to know where we were going and why he had a bag with him that looked like it was packed with secretive items. I didn't care if he answered me, I just wanted to get the questions out of my system.

"Where are we going?" I asked, although it sounded more like a whine.

He shushed me, kissing the side of my head. "Don't worry about, you'll see when we get there." He told me. I sighed but didn't question any further, there was no real use to it.

Eventually, though, we arrived at the park, and Austin took us towards the playground. He smiled at me as we stopped at the metal slide, and obviously I was more curious than anything. He wasn't giving me answer to any of my questions anymore, so I stood there, watching as he removed his bag from his shoulders and tugged it open. He removed a large fleece blanket and then tossed his bag to the ground. Austin laid the blanket out over the cold metal and laid down, beckoning me after him. This was strange, but it had my heart warming and a big grin on my face as I walked over and cuddled up beside him on the slide. He wrapped his arms around me, keeping me warm and cozy. I actually really liked this.

"So is this your big fun adventure that you wanted?" I asked, resting my head against his shoulder. Austin hummed, running one of his hands up and down my back.

"I know it's not what you expected, and I promise we'll get some hot chocolate later...but I just wanted to be with you in the middle of a freezing cold night, cuddled up on a slide while looking at the stars." He said chuckling. I rolled my eyes and smiled, pressing myself closer as the wind picked up again.

"And you just randomly thought of this?" I questioned.

"Mhmm," he hummed, kissing the top of my head. "I know it's weird, but, I don't know, I thought it would be really nice." He said softly.

"I like it. I like being this close to you," I told him. I could practically feel his smile as he kissed the top of my head once more.

We laid there for I don't know how long, but it was nice and warm with us being cuddled close. He would begin talking, telling me things about the stars and the night, and I could feel his chest vibrating with every single word he spoke. It was oddly comforting and I could feel myself growing more and more comfortable with every second, even if it was cold.

Eventually though, with a squeeze to my sides, Austin sat up, pulling me with him. "It's getting colder out," he said. "We can still get hot chocolate if you?" He told me, brushing hair from my face. I nodded and shivered slightly, missing our shared warmth.

We both stood up and Austin gathered the blanket we were laying on, shoving it into his bag and closing it up. He smiled at me and grabbed my hand, pulling me along out of the park and down to the little diner. I was almost afraid that it was open, but I could see the little older couple that was here many nights ago when I had first arrived. Mark was stood behind the counter, counting up money from the register, and when Austin and I walked in, he smiled brightly.

"There you two are!" He said. "Didn't think you'd ever show up again." I grinned and Austin smiled at him, squeezing my hand.

"Go take a seat, I'm sure you two will want hot hot chocolate?" Mark asked, Austin and I both nodded eagerly. He smiled and laughed at us, leaving to go into the kitchen. We found a seat in the same little booth, but this time Austin sat down beside me. I rested my head against his shoulder, listening to the quiet hum of the lights and the radiator. Austin turned and kissed the top of my head, letting his lips linger.

Tonight felt so nice and peaceful and very much needed. I've never felt so bubbly and relaxed in my entire life.

Mark came out with our hot chocolate in Styrofoam cups, just like usual. They were still steaming hot as he sat them down in front of us. Austin pulled out his wallet and gave him two dollars for them both. I grabbed my cup after mumbling a soft "thank you," and my hands warming up from the hot liquid. I took a very small sip, it burning my mouth slightly, but I enjoyed how it warmed up my body. Austin hummed beside me as he did the same, and afterwards, he leaned over and pressed a kiss to my temple.

The night was so relaxing the more we sat there and drank our hot chocolate. I honest couldn't have imagined myself doing anything else. I would probably be sat up in bed, forcing myself to stay awake because the nightmares were too much or because my mind was going haywire at the littlest things.

I sighed softly and picked at my cast, letting my fingers wander across the material. It was itchy and much like sandpaper, and it sucked whenever my arm itched, but I couldn't keep the smile off my face whenever I saw "AUSTIN <3" in big, bold letters. He had insisted that he signed it, claiming that he was more important than the others who had put their names on my cast, and of course I had to let him, he was too cute to resist.

"You ready to go?" The said brunette asked me as he picked our cups up. I nodded and yawned softly, feeling very tired. Austin smiled and got out of the booth so I could get out. After he threw away the cups, we both said a goodbye to Mark before leaving, heading back to the orphanage. Being like a good boyfriend, Austin kept me wrap up close to him as we walked, making sure I was warmth with his body heat and kisses. He was too caring and I was sure he got that from his parents. From the stories he told, his mother seemed so kind and must've been such a beautiful woman. I'm sure Austin got all of his kindness, happiness, and everything good about him from her.

We soon enough arrived at the orphanage and snuck inside quietly like usual. We headed upstairs without a sound and instead of Austin giving a kiss and telling me goodnight, he told me stay put standing in the hallway. At first I was confused, watching as he walked all the way to his room and looked inside. I could barely see him, but I could make out his outline and I could see whenever he walked back to me, a smile on his face.

"Mike must be asleep in Tony's room and Vic must be somewhere on the couch, or maybe in your room with Kellin," Austin whispered. "So, do you want to come to my room and sleep with me?" He asked, touching my hand. I smiled and nodded before realizing he probably couldn't see me and instead whispered back, "yes."

Austin chuckled, tugging at my hand to pull me along down the hallway. He flicked the light switch, turning the lights on so we could see as we entered into his room. His side of the room was so much nicer and cleaner unlike Mike and Vic's. They both had clothes hanging from their bunks and their bedsheets nearly falling off, although it made the room seem more comfortable.

My cheeks warmed up as Austin pulled his shirt off, throwing it to the side. It wasn't the first time I had seen him shirtless, he did sleep without one, but I just didn't expect him to strip all of a sudden down from clothes to his boxers. I bit my lip as I slipped my shoes off and sat them to the side.

"I'm just going to um, get some of my clothes." I mumbled, turning away, but Austin grabbed my hand, looking almost bashful.

"You- you can borrow some of my clothes." He said, I could see his cheeks began to become red and I couldn't help but smile and nod. Austin smiled and turned towards the closet opposite of his bed and room, rummaging through it until he found a large long sleeved shirt and a pair of gym shorts. He came back to me, smile still prominent on his face as he gave me the clothes.

"I'm gonna turn around, tell me when you're done." He said, I nodded and waited until his back was turned before I stripped down to my boxers and pulled on the other clothes. The long sleeved shirt fit me almost like dress, coming down mid thigh, and the shorts were almost the perfect size.

"Okay," I mumbled and Austin turned around, grinning from ear to ear.

"You look really cute." He said, pulling me close and kissing my forehead. I chuckled and pulled away from, climbing into his bed. Austin strode over to the light switch and flicked it off before coming back and climbing in beside me. He laid down, wrapping me up in his arms and kissing the top of my head.

"I had fun tonight," I mumbled softly as we let the darkness and quiet consume us.

"I did too, I like spending nights like these with you." He told me, burying his face in my hair. I grinned and snuggled up closer, muttering a good night before closing my eyes. My mind was at peace, I was cuddling with the best boy ever...tonight was just wonderful.

。。。

it really has been too long since I last updated, but my internet has decided that now is the best time ever to start messing up and likes to cut out at the worst times, I have no idea where I'm going with this story and don't have any clue on how to finish it, but I refuse to stop writing it and not finish it because, even though I've lost my mind track on this, I actually really like how it's written and will continue, even if the updates are so slow and some of the content is sloppy and out of place. I will continue.

But anyways, I made some cute fluff and really, really like this chapter.
