Mason's POV

"He wasn't talking, Mrs. Puremen." I said glaring at the teacher.

"I don't care both of you detention after school." I sighed glancing at Hayden. I hope he's not too upset. He didn't look like it, but you never know.

"Sorry." I said and Hayden just shrugged his shoulders.

"Don't worry about it." I sighed in relief.

"No talking in detention." I sighed sitting down in a desk. I'm forced to sit far away from Hayden. I glanced over at him to see he was asleep. I chuckled getting a glare from the teacher.

I looked around the room and saw Evan sitting in the back. We made eye contact and I could feel a challenge. We stared at each other for about four minutes until the teacher yelled at me to turn back around.

I sighed putting my head now. I closed my eyes and told myself I'm not going to sleep.

"Ow!" I yelled jolting up out of the chair. I glared at Evan, rubbing the back of my head. I looked around the room and the teacher was leaving.

"Get up, dumbass." He said leaving. I rolled my eyes getting up. I walked over to Hayden and debated if I should pick him up or not.

He'll probably kill me if do. "Hayden." I said pushing his shoulder. He mumbled something before covering his face with his hands. He asked for it. He clearly did with his mumbling.

I picked him up out of the chair and carried him bridal style. I laughed walking past Jasper and his football team. They all gave me weird looks.

I got to the car and laid Hayden in the back. Jasper just got done with practice and came running outside. "Why are you carrying him again?" Jasper asked getting in the drivers seat.

I got in as well and put my seatbelt on. "He was asleep and wouldn't get up." I said smiling at Hayden's sleeping face.

"You like him don't you." Jasper said more as a statement than a question. I rolled my eyes trying to hide my blush. "You do don't you!" He yelled excitedly.

"Chill, woman." I said blocking Jasper's hand. "Quit being a fan girl." I laughed at Jasper's pout. What is wrong with him. "I might like Hayden a little bit more than a friend." I said nervously.

"Two gay brothers, wow. Where did mom and dad go wrong." He said laughing. I punched his arm a bit too roughly causing him to swerve.

"I'm not gay." I said angrily. "I just so happen to like Hayd-"

"Where am I?" Hayden said half asleep. I turned around in my seat to see him. "Hi Mason." He said smiling, sitting up.

"You fell asleep and wouldn't wake up." I said smiling at him.

"Yeah right. More like you just wanted to carry him." Jasper said laughing. I groaned turning back into my seat. Hayden chuckled nervously and we both were blushing. There goes Jasper embarrassing me again.

"I fell asleep too, don't worry." I said giving Hayden a quick glance. We made it to Hayden's house and he sat there for a second.

"Thank you." He said opening the door and jumping out.

"He was clearly talking to me." Jasper said driving off.

Once we got home Riley was there with a couple of friends. Including his boyfriend. I wonder if he's ever going to tell me he's gay.

"Hey, riles and friends." I said going upstairs. They said hey back and continued on with their gaming.

Surprisingly my parents came home early and told us we're going out to dinner and can bring friends. I smiled widely and decided to pick Hayden and Finn. It would be fun to make them friends.

I wanted to invite Caleb, but that would be awkward with Hayden. With last time what happened to him. I called Finn and he was coming over, now I need to go to Hayden's house.

"I'm taking the car. I'll meet you guys there." I said running outside about to greet Finn. We took off in Jasper's car.

"We're going to Hayden's." I said chuckling at Finn's confused expression. "He's my friend and I want you guys to be friends as well." I said softly. Finn sighed before nodding his head.

"Fine, it's just a little weird for me. Our friends have always been mean to Hayden and now I'm used to not liking him." He said nervously. I nodded my head understanding.

"Well, were here." I said getting out of the car. I rolled my eyes once Finn didn't budge to get out. I went up to Hayden's door and rang the door bell. The door opened and all I could hear was barking.

"Hey, Mason." Hayden said closing the door and stepping outside. "What do you want?" He asked in a non mean way.

"Want to go to dinner with me and my family and some friends?" I asked nervously. I looked anywhere but his face too nervous to see what rejection looks like.

"Sure," he said. I looked up confused but happy. Hayden had a smile on his face as well. "Who's in the car?" He asked his smile now gone.

We were now looking at the boy in the car and Finn waved shyly. "My other friend I invited." I replied chuckling at Finn.

Hayden shrugged his shoulders before walking over to the car. Am I the only one surprised Hayden agreed.
