Mason's POV

I stared shocked at the man Hayden is supposed to call uncle. "You don't ask people that, tony." Ally said smacking that mans hand.

He pulled his hand back, glaring at her. "What?" He said annoyed. "Am I not aloud to know what my little Hayden has been up to?" He asked so innocently.

I glared at him wanting to kill him right there. How dare he call Hayden his. I grabbed Hayden's hand under the table and squeezed it. I could tell he was still really embarrassed of his uncles actions.

He looked at me and gave me a weak smile. And I returned one back. "So, Mason do you play any sports?" Ally asked trying to break the uncomfortable silence.

I nodded my head, "yeah, I used to play football, but now I'm going to play basketball this year." She smiled at me and nodded her head.

"Hayden, why don't you play any sports?" The man I already hate asked. His attention was now on Hayden and I could tell the boy was uncomfortable.

"Sports aren't for everyone." I replied, receiving an eye roll from Hayden's uncle. We stayed silent again and finally the douche bag got up. He went upstairs and left his mess for someone to clean up like the asshole he is.

Hayden and I cleaned the dishes as Ally put everything away. Hayden cleaned and I dried. I listened to Ally hum as I worked. It was quite nice until tony came back downstairs.

He plopped down on the couch, ignoring us. How does Hayden live with him? I guess he doesn't really have a choice. I would definitely let him live with me.

Once we were done Hayden quickly fed the dogs and we went back upstairs. "What do you want to watch?" He asked going through his shelf full of movies.

"What are some of your favorites?" I asked looking through the movies with him. He shrugged his shoulders with a smile.

"I love a lot of movies." He replied. I nodded my head. I don't watch movies at all. I don't have enough time. "How about this one?" He asked lifting up a DVD.

I read it and nodded my head. I've never seen it before, but if Hayden suggested it then it must be good. "Have you seen it before?" He asked while sliding the disk in his DVD player.

I shook my head no. "Really?" He asked surprised. I just shrugged my shoulders and tried to get comfortable on his bed. "You've never seen the Hunger Games?" He asked again still surprised.

"No, I haven't." I chuckled. He just shook his head in disapproval. Giving me a look of how dare you. I rolled my eyes and grabbed his hand. I pulled him towards me on the bed and watched him get comfortable.

He sat in between my legs with the back of his head laying on my chest. I ran my hands through his soft hair and waited for him to stop me, but he didn't. He just laid there with a content smile on his face as he watched the movie.

I could never pay attention to a movie, but now especially I can't when Hayden is here. I can just get distracted by staring at his beautiful face. His eyes started to slip close and a yawn escaped his mouth.

Watching him caused me to yawn as well. "You getting tired?" I asked still playing with his hair. He nodded his head and curled into himself. I smiled and laid back on the pillows behind me.

I see him pull the blankets up before I close my eyes. I felt the sudden urge to kiss his forehead and I did. He just smiled and kept his eyes closed.

"Goodnight, Mason." He whispered with a slight yawn.

"Night, Hayden." I replied back. I then closed my eyes and let sleep pull me away.
