Seungyeon X Wooseok

This is a pretty long one, thus why it took longer

It was a weird world. Having a destined soulmate is kind of a weird concept. You can only love this one person for the rest of your life and its decided even before you're born. But what if you grow up and your personalities don't fit? What if one turns out with a deadly disease, or dies in a car crash, or becomes a drug addict? What if they have some anger issue and is extremely aggressive and it becomes an abusive relationship but you can do nothing but still love that person?

Wooseok couldn't help but thing about all those weird and scary possibilities. He had his mark. It was what seemed to be a frozen rose that connected to another drawing he could not recognize. Of course he couldn't figure out what it was. Thing is, everyone had a mark that was only half of a drawing. The other half was on their soulmate's body. And that's how you had to find your soulmate.

Wooseok had never found his soulmate, and he was so worried. He couldn't bring himself to be with someone else. He was afraid of liking someone who was not his soulmate and ending up sad when the other found their soulmate. And honestly, he had no idea when he would find them. They had just debuted, how would fans react to him suddenly having a soulmate? It would definitely cause a lot of drama.

So he stayed put. He never showed the mark on the small of his back to anyone, not even the members, mostly having some pain relieving patch or high waisted pants to cover the part. And everything was fine. He was okay with not yet having his soulmate. That's when he saw it.

It was summer, so it was usual for the members to wear very little clothing. It was right after a schedule they had  very early, and they had a bit of time until the fansign. The schedule had been harsh physically, all members getting a bit sweaty and messy, so they decided to take a shower. Wooseok had said he would be last, because everyone seemed tired and he could wait a bit more. Seungyeon had went showering a while back and he was next.

He was just strolling through twitter when Seungyeon came out of the bathroom, wearing only sweater pants very low around his hips, making his gun tattoo appear in all its glory. The boy's handsomeness was absolutely undeniable.

"Wooseok-ah, it's finally your turn. I already took out your cosmetics, no need to keep searching for them"

"Thanks, Seungyeon-ah. Go rest a bit before the fansign. We still have about two hours"

Seungyeon smiled and nodded before turning around. That's when he saw it. He now understood his mark. It was a moon. A intricately designed moon, with a rose stalk around it, coming from behind it to show another frozen rose. Cho Seungyeon was his freaking soulmate. His soulmate was also his group mate. And his soulmate was one of his best friends, and to finish it all off, a guy.

Wooseok just stood there, in the front of the bathroom, eyes wide and face suddenly pale. He couldn't believe it. He had found his soulmate in the most unexpected away possible and he had no idea of what to do. He went into the bathroom at the speed of light and locked himself in. If he acted weird the members would come check on him and that's the last thing he wants. So he starts taking a shower, obviously as absentmindedly as it is possible.

Wooseok just kept thinking about all the possibilities. Seungyeon not accepting him, One It finding out, the media finding out and making the biggest drama. All possibilities seemed not too great. So he decided not to say anything, even though maybe he would regret it.

As soon as he finished showering he went to his room, trying to distract himself while playing on his phone or listening to music. He was the last one to leave the dorm, but he forgot a detail. Seungyeon sat right beside him in the bus. So as soon as he sat down he started taking out his airpods. That is, when suddenly Seungyeon put his hand on Wooseok's shoulder.

"Wooseok-ah, are you alright? You took very long showering and didn't stay with us before the schedule"

Wooseok didn't know how his voice would sound like if he spoke to his new found soulmate. So he just quickly nodded and put some music on just so he could have an excuse.

And it was like that throughout the whole preparation for the fansign. He didn't talk to members while doing hair and makeup, or while changing or anything. Members were definitely sensing something weird but just let it be.

Then it was time for the fansign. And oh well the world was really really against him that day, because he ended up sitting beside who? Obviously, Cho Seungyeon!

They did their greeting and everything and sat down to talk to One It, sometimes talking here and there between themselves, playing around and enjoying the cute gifts they gave them. A fan took a bit too long while talking to Wooseok and was quickly rushed by the staff to talk to Seungyeon, clearly a bit sad about it. Seungyeon (being the sweetheart he always is) asked if she had something else to say to his fellow group mate and she quickly handed a pair of gold round glasses, with intricate classy designs on the edges and a rose connected to a chain.

Seungyeon took the glasses, smiling brightly at how pretty they were and how they would look like on his even prettier friend. Instead of saying anything, he gently held Wooseok's chin and turned his face, putting the glasses on the other's. He still held his chin for a while, looking at his doing, while Wooseok could do nothing but stare back, a bit wide eyed. Then Seungyeon caressed his cheek, still smiling before turning back to the fan.

Wooseok felt like his heart would burst out of his chest. Seungyeon's actions had sometimes made his heart beat faster, but now that he knew their destiny, he couldn't help but be even more shaken. He could only get out of his trance when the fan sat in front of him called his name again. He said sorry and tried to continue with the fansign, avoiding looking at Seungyeon.

It was already the time where they were just kind of free, and Wooseok went to stand in front of the table, resting against it. Seungwoo and Dongpyo at his side didn't pull away from each other. Oh well, more like Seungwoo didn't get away from Dongpyo. Wooseok made a face at the two and the fans noticed, cheering because of his cute expression.

When he turned his face to continue looking at the fans and talking to them, he slightly jumped when noticing the new presence beside him, making fans again coo at their cuteness.

"Wooseok-ah, do you want hugs like that too?"

Seungyeon said teasingly, a smirk on his face, and Wooseok just stared at him expressionless. In no time Seungyeon hugged him quickly, making fans scream and Hangyul quietly stare at them in disapproval.

Wooseok yelped with a high pitched voice and doubled over to try and get away, just making Seungyeon hold him tighter.

"Seungyeon-ah! Enough, just let me go"

Wooseok whined with a pout and Seungyeon let go, getting the black kitten ears that were on his head and putting them on Wooseok's head instead, smiling brightly.

"There, kitten Wooseok fits you best"

Wooseok couldn't help but blush, soon moving away and sitting back down on his place. Seungyeon and the other members kept entertaining the fans, while he just from time to time said something. He didn't take off the cat ears until after the fansign though.

They stood up to say goodbye to One It all together. They waved, smiled and sent hearts towards them, staying even a bit longer than they should. But staffs started rushing everyone to get in the backstage and so everyone started moving. That's when Seungyeon suddenly stopped in front of Wooseok. Wooseok tilted his head, confused, until Seungyeon pulled him in by the neck for a side hug, and went down the stairs not letting go of the shorter male. Seungyeon leaned down and whispered in his ear before they would part ways to change clothes.

"Wooseok-ah, you'll have to tell me what's going on when we arrive at the dorms."

Then Seungyeon just walked away, leaving a dumbfounded, anxious and scared Kim Wooseok standing.

Wooseok changed his clothes and again tried to make time, waiting in the bathroom so that he was again the last to get in the bus. This time, Seungyeon didn't say anything, but Wooseok could feel his gaze every few minutes.

Wooseok's heart just felt like it would burst again. How would he be able to lie to Seungyeon? Cho Seungyeon, the one who could see right through him. Is his soulmate and wants to know what's wrong. There was no way Seungyeon would just let any lie pass. So Wooseok did the best he could do: run.

As soon as they arrived, Wooseok left the bus and went in the dorms, running all the way to his room. The members were definitely weirded out by his actions. The whiny hyung they knew would probably be trying to convince everyone else to buy chicken feet for dinner. But actually he wasn't? That was extremely weird behaviour.

Seungwoo, being the oldest caring hyung of the group, noticed the youngster's weird actions and after washing up went to the other's bedroom. He quietly knocked on the door.

"Wooseok-ah? Are you asleep yet?"

"No... Come in, Seungwoo hyung..."

Seungwoo made his way in, closing the door after himself. Wooseok was sitting on the bed, resting his back against the wall. Seungwoo smiled slightly, before sitting beside the younger and wrapping an arm around his shoulders, seeing Wooseok quickly rest against the older as well.

"Wooseok-ah... I can see there is something wrong and bothering you. You can rely on all of us as much as you need, you know that, right? No matter what, all of us will always be here to support you."

"I know, hyung... but now I'm not sure if I will be able to rely on one specific member anymore. I fucked things all up, for all of us, and I'm so scared of him finding out."

"Wooseok-ah, I can't help if I don't know exactly what's going on."

"Cho Seungyeon is my soulmate."

Seungwoo didn't react for a while, trying to take in the newfound information. As a leader, he had thought about that possibility. Many of the members were at the age where they would try and find their soulmate.

"How did you find out?"

"Seungyeon came out of the shower this morning, and I saw the mark he had on the small of his back. It completes mine, I'm completely sure of it"

"So Seungyeon doesn't know you're mates, right?"

"Right... but he noticed my behaviour, and today, after the fansign, he said he wanted to know what's wrong. And you know how close we are, hyung, he can see right through me."

"You know... hiding this will only make you feel bad, Wooseok-ah. You will always be tense, and won't be able to enjoy with all the members when we have shows or fansigns. Your relationship with him as friends might also be affected, and that would also affect the group. I think the best you can do is tell him, and decide on what to do together."

Wooseok stayed quiet for a while. He knew every single thing Seungwoo had just said was completely right, and the last thing he wanted to do was to affect the group and make things awkward between them.

"Hyung... can you stay with me? I know I need to tell him, but... I just need a bit of time. Just a bit."

Seungwoo gave that cute smile and slightly ruffled the youngerster's hair.

"Of course. I know how nervous you must be. I'll just say later that we were hanging out together and ended up falling asleep. But before that, we both need to eat. We can bring chicken up here and just eat here, okay?"

"Seungwoo hyung, you're the best"

Wooseok hugged the older tightly, playfully nodding his head, exactly like the older always did. Seungwoo just laughed and didn't let go of the younger for a while.

Saying Seungyeon was confused is an understatement. He and Wooseok were close since the beginning, but all of a sudden Wooseok started acting weird. He would ignore him, look away when their eyes met, and even avoid his touch. And that wasn't the Kim Wooseok Seungyeon knew and loved.

So he went for it. He told Wooseok he needed to talk to him, but as soon as everyone arrived at the dorms, Wooseok ran away into his room. As soon as he was going to stand up to try and talk to Wooseok, Seungwoo stood up before him and got in the room, and there stayed. Seungyeon waited for a while, but Seungwoo wouldn't leave, so he just gave up and tried to sleep.

Seungyeon thought about every single possibility. He might've made Wooseok mad by saying something wrong, or Wooseok just got tired of him, or Wooseok wasn't feeling well, or Wooseok was depressed. Anyway, every single possibility scared him. But still, it would be awkward to just go and ask for Seungwoo to leave. So Seungyeon basically just took inconstant naps, being always interrupted by a bad thought about his pretty friend.

The first schedule they had the following day would just start at around noon, so members had a while longer to rest and enjoy something else. But Seungyeon couldn't help but get out of bed early in the morning, completely nervous about what could happen. It was his surprise when he saw Seungwoo stood in the kitchen, making breakfast. That was his chance.

He went up the stairs again and rushed to Wooseok's room, quietly knocking so he wouldn't wake up the other members.

"Seungwoo hyung? Come in, you were quick."

As soon as it was Seungyeon to get in rather than the oldest hyung, Wooseok's eyes became wide and his face turned pale.

"Wooseok-ah... we really need to talk."

Wooseok just nodded quickly, adjusting his position on the bed and sitting at the edge of it. It was clear he had just woken up, hair messy, face slightly bloated and eyes still too lazy to open completely. Seungyeon also noticed how there was one extra pillow on the bed, when he knows Wooseok sleeps with only one. Seungwoo might have slept with him.

"Wooseok-ah, what's wrong? You have been acting so weird, so don't try telling me there's nothing wrong. You have been so distant, specially from me but from everyone. You basically avoided me, and even at the fansign you were zoning out. I'm worried, okay? Me and the other members are really really worried. Look, if it has to do with the playing around we do with you, sometimes mock you, if it hurts you in any way, say it, we'll stop. If I said something wrong that hurt you or annoyed you, and you're mad, say it and I'll never do it again. But please, please, don't get distant from us, you know how precious you are to every single one of us. Minhee was asking about you, you know? He wanted to play around with you yesterday. And even me... I missed you."

Wooseok kept his head down. It hurt him to know Seungyeon had thought about all those things. It hurt him to know he worried members, it hurt even more to know he let Minhee down. He couldn't help but feel guilty, that because of one egoistic soulmate issue, he had brought his group down. So he stood up and hugged Seungyeon tight.

"I'm sorry... I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to worry you guys, I didn't mean to hurt you guys in anyway... the reason is... it's dumb. It's too dumb to be taken seriously after what it caused..."

Before Seungyeon could react to the hug, Wooseok had already pulled away, turning his back to the taller member, clearly confused and nervous about what to do. Then, Seungyeon saw something that made him even more confused. Wooseok was wearing a white shirt when he went to sleep. And to stay comfy, grey shorts that sit a bit lower on his hips. Through the thin shirt he could slightly see the mark the other had. And it was way too similar to his. But before he could look at it further, Wooseok turned around again.

"This is... this is hard to say, okay? I feel anxious and confused and sad in a way even. But you know I can't hide anything from you..."

"Does it have to do with your soulmate?"

Seungyeon said before Wooseok could finish, and saw the other's eyes widen, skin even paler than it had been before. Seungyeon had found the sweet spot.

"Is your soulmate... me?"

Seungyeon doubted it. It was more like a crazy assumption he barely voiced. Just voiced to make sure. But it was Seungyeon's turn to be dumbfounded when Wooseok slightly nodded, looking down at the ground, moving his fingers nervously. Then he turned around, raising his shirt slightly to show his mark. And Seungyeon had no doubt, the frozen rose, intricately wrapping around a beautiful moon, that completed with his mark would form another rose and light clouds. Seungyeon was completely shocked, but he still reached out and hugged Wooseok from behind.

"It's okay. I've found my soulmate and it couldn't be better. I'm sorry that you had to worry about this on your own for a while, Wooseokie, I'm sorry that I didn't realize something was bothering you sooner. But now, we are soulmates, okay? We are going to be together and support each other, and I'm not gonna let you be this worried and hurt again, okay?"

Wooseok turned, still in Seungyeon's arms and hugged him, resting his head on the other's shoulder. Seungyeon's hands lightly caressed his back, his every gesture filled with caring more than anything.

"I'm sorry about hiding this from you, but I really didn't know how to say anything... we are group mates and also both guys, I could just wonder what could go wrong and didn't think about your feelings, I'm sorry"

"It's okay. I can imagine how you felt when you found out, it's okay. I know how nervous you might have been, so it's okay, Wooseok-ah. The only thing that changed between us is the fact that now I feel free to love you. "

Wooseok slightly tapped Seungyeon's back, laughing quietly at the sudden confession. But all Seungyeon did was laugh as well, and cup the other's cheek, making their gazes meet.

"I'm not lying when I say I want to love you, Wooseok-ah. You can take as long as you want, but I'm completely ready to love you. Don't feel pressured because of this new status, okay?"

Wooseok just kept staring at the taller for a while, without giving a clear response. Seungyeon, on the other hand, didn't feel nervous because of that. Overall he felt happy about finding out his soulmate was someone he was already starting to love. 

Wooseok just slightly leaned up to me the other's height, leaving a soft chaste peck on his lips, letting the touch linger for maybe a bit too long. But he didn't care at all and neither did Seungyeon. Both were just extremely happy to have found that their destined love was also the person they had learnt to love and cherish before anything else.
