She takes all the bags from her lap and places them on the floor, staring directly at me she says "Jax can you go over there for a sec?"

"Sure" he gets up and walks away.

She smiles again "You're breaking up with me in my favorite place in the entire world? What's wrong with you?" That's what's important

"Summer I'm not happy, you don't pay attention to me. You always say you put in effort but it's all bullshit and I can't take it anymore."

"You knew what you were doing, meeting me here so I wouldn't cause a scene. After all I've done for you Mitchell?"

"All you've ever done was use me to make yourself look good"

"I MADE YOU POPULAR!" She yells practically jumping out of her seat. Calming her self down she sits back noticing people glancing at us "before me you didn't have any friends Mitch, I made you who you are today and you're just done with me?"

"I never dated you because of what you could've done for me Summer, I genuinely was in love with you. I thought I knew you more than anyone because you shared so much with me, but of course you were just being fake"

"Fake? Nothing about any of this was fake!" She gestures between us "I swear Mitch if this table wasn't between us right now" she whispers trying not to yell

"I'm sorry Summer, I just can't be in this relationship anymore"

"Whatever!" She stands up grabbing her bags "two things, one; I'm telling everyone that I broke up with you. Two; don't ever come near me or my friends ever again, you're out Mitch and get ready for a world of hurt." She comes closer leaning in my face "You fucked with the wrong one" then walks away "JAX! Let's go!" She calls out and they leave. Taking a deep breath I sink in my seat not believing I actually fucking did it! I'm single now! A faint smile pops up on my face as I get up to leave. I'm actually free from those people.

I walk back to my car and my phone dings, text from Jax 'good for you' I smile at the text but I don't reply, I head home.

Walking in I go to Liv's room and lay next to her as she sits on her bed doing homework "I did it Liv"

She stops writing "wait seriously?!"

"Yep"

"Wow nice I'm proud" she taps my shoulder "what'd she say?"

"She said I crossed the wrong one, and I can never come near her or her friends ever again"

She laughs "like you ever even liked any of those people"

"Right"

"Now you can hang out with me and my friends" she grins excited

"I'm not eating lunch with niners Liv" I sit up

"What are you going to do?"

"I don't know keep my head down till I graduate"

"4 months, you can do that" I hope so

"I'm starving did mom make anything?"

"There's leftovers from last night"

"K" I leave her room.

The next two days were different, and I don't know if that was a good or bad thing. I'm pretty sure Summer informed everyone that I'm the enemy now and they all should avoid and ignore me. I swear the last two days no one in school has made eye contact with me, I mean I don't care because I expected it from everyone but not from Jax. He's ignored my texts, when I wave to him, and I've even left him a note yesterday in his locker that said to meet me under butternut but he didn't show.

It's day three and still the same thing "Liv hey" I see my sister walking down the hall

"Can't be seen talking to you Mitch" she whispers

"You too?" My own sister

"I'm sorry but I don't want to be Summer's target, I'm already too close to you as it is" she walks away. Great I officially have no one.

I end the day and go straight to my car, as I'm walking I see Jax waiting to get picked up. I walk to him "you're a real hypocrite, you know that?"

He turns to face me "what?"

"Don't act clueless Jax you were the one pushing me to break up with Summer"

"Because you were unhappy"

"And I did it"

"I know, I was there"

"Yeah but you haven't been here have you"

"What did you expect from me Mitch?"

"I don't know" check to see if I was ok, talk to me when everyone else wasn't

"I'm sorry Mitch I am, but I've always been Summer's friend. I wanted to help you and I'm glad I did but that's all it was"

"What did she tell you? To stay away from me or else" she had to have threatened him

"No! I do whatever I want"

I scoff "clearly" and walk away.

When I get home I find my mom and dad sitting in the living room watching tv "hi honey" my mom looks over at me

"Hey guys"

"Hey kid" my dad replies.

I turn to leave but I turn back to them "oh and before you guys start to ask why Summer isn't around as much anymore, it's because we broke up"

"What?" My mom gasps

"Yeah long story short she wasn't who I thought she was"

"I'm so sorry honey" my mom gets up hugging me "when did this happen?"

"Few days ago, I'm over it now"

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine mom"

"That sucks, Summer was hot" my dad adds

"GUS!" My mom hits him

"What she was!"

I smile "I'm ok guys, gonna be in my room"

"Alright, I'll bring up some food"

"Thanks ma."
