I got absolutely no sleep. I'm freaking out and driving as slowly as possible to avoid what I'm about to do "hey kid get off the fucking road!" Some guy yells as he drives past me.

Making it to Jax's house I park behind Summer's red Mercedes. "Morning sweetie" his mom answers the door after I knock

"Good morning" I walk in and she shuts the door

"They're upstairs"

"Thank you" I walk up the stairs heading to Jax's room.

"Oh no you cannot bring that!" I hear Summer as I get closer

"Please?" I hear Jax's raspy voice pleading

"NO!" I knock then walk in "Wow look who's here... again"

"I could say the same about you"

"Hey" Jax smiles at me

"Hey" my eyes trail from his eyes to the bags on the bed "what's going on?"

"I convinced Jax to come to Bora Bora with me" Summer gets up "it's gonna be amazing!!" She sings amazing

Any hope I had of telling him automatically dies when she says that. I stand there quiet after she says it "you don't think I should go?" Jax asks putting the clothes he was packing down

"I didn't say that" I quickly answer "I thought you weren't gonna go because you just got out of a coma"

"I wasn't but it's a vacation! Everyone needs a vacation"

"Right..." I go quiet.

Jax and I stare at each other and he frowns, of course I don't want him to go but I'm not going to say that "whatever! Who cares what Mitch thinks" Summer says

"I do" Jax reply "do you think I should go Mitch?"

No I don't "sure, have fun. I'll see you guys later."

I walk out. Walking to my car I hear behind me "what's your problem?" I turn to Summer walking towards me

"I came to tell Jax how I felt Summer, I finally summed up the guts to do it just to find out you're taking him out of the country"

"You're too late Mitch, you've had so much time to tell him but you decided to be a pussy and not so I'm taking him with me"

"Have fun." I get in my car and drive away.

"Just like Summer to ruin every fucking thing!" I yell pacing back and forth

"Mitch calm down and tell me what happened" Jessie chuckles as she tries to stop me from pacing

"I went over there very prepared to tell Jax how I feel but Summer got there before I did and convinced Jax to go to Bora Bora"

"Bora Bora? Like French Polynesia?"

"Yes! I think"

"When are they leaving?"

"I don't know"

"Then go back and tell him, you still have time!"

"It makes no sense to tell him now, he said he wanted to go and it's freaking Bora Bora... whatever the fuck that is. He's sick he deserves it"

"Oh my god" her jaw drops

"What?" I stop pacing giving her my attention

Smiling "you're an amazing guy Mitch"

I continue to pace "Jessie this is serious, focus please"

"I am being serious! Look Mitch it's barely noon and you pulled me out of school, I get that you're mad and you need me to tell you what you want to hear. I don't know what that is but I can tell you what I think"

"What do you think?" I stop in front of her

"I think you deserve Jax and if you want him you shouldn't wait. Now will you take me back to school please?"

"Yeah" we get back in my car and I drive Jessie back to school. Parked in front of CHAMPS "thanks for helping me"

"No problem let me know what happens"

"Ok" she gets out and goes back to school.

I spend the rest of my day driving around hoping to clear my head, it's kind of working but I don't think anything can ever get me to stop thinking about Jax, he's all I think about now. I'm happy he's going on vacation, I really am, but I just can't bring myself to tell him.

It's getting late so I head home. Not bothering to eat dinner I lock myself up in my room and just listen to music. I hear a knock on my door as I sit in bed doing nothing "go away Liv!" I bark not wanting to get up and open the door for Liv's bullshit, but she knocks again. Getting up I forcefully pull the door "what Liv?!" I swing the door open to Jax holding the plant

"If you don't want me to go I won't go" he says

His eyes are red "have you been crying? And what are you doing here you're suppose to be taking it slow"

"This morning when you found out I was going you got mad and just left, I don't want you to be mad at me"

Taking the plant from his hands I pull him in and shut the door locking it again "I'm not mad at you I promise" I put the plant down near my computer

"Mind if I sit down?" He points to my bed

"Go ahead" he walks over sitting at the end of my bed, I stand against the wall a bit of distance from him "how'd you get here?" He looks at me

"Stole the keys to my mom's mini van" he smiles faintly

"You should be sleeping not driving"

"I couldn't sleep"

"Neither could I" after a wave of awkward silence I ask "so when are you leaving?"

"Tomorrow night"

"When will you be back?"

"Next Saturday"

"A whole week?" Kill me now

"Yeah Summer wanted a whole week"

"Are you sure you want to spend a week with Summer and Cam?"

"I thought about that so I told her and she decided to give two of the tickets back to her parents, it's going to be just us for the week"

"On an island where none of you have ever been"

"We'll be fine Mitch"

"I hope so. Come on it's really late let me drive you back home"

"Yeah just give me like 5 minutes, I used the little energy I had getting here"

"Lay down for a bit" I rush to him helping him lay down and fixing my pillows for him. Hovering over him as he lays down I cover him with my blankets "I'll be right here when ever you're ready" I say then go sit at my computer desk.

"Will you talk to me please?"

"Sure, what do you want to hear?"

"I don't know anything"

"Do you want to tell me anything?"

"Oh I actually do! Summer heard from some people that principal Taylor got fired and we're gonna have a new principal"

"Wow. Do you think it'll be different when we go back?"

"Probably but we don't have to worry about that for another week. What are you gonna do next week?"

"What I always do sleep, work out, and hang out here"

He smiles "wow you're a wild animal!"

"I know right I should really slow down" I smile back

"I'm gonna miss you" I'll miss you so much

"It's only a week, I'll be here when you get back"

"I know."

We continue to talk until he falls asleep. I thought about waking him up but he looks so peaceful so I just let him sleep.
