Since the revelation, everything changed. My family and my friends were sad but were determined to make these weeks unforgettable and nobody could imagine how it made me feel. Of course, saying I wasn't scared would be lying. I was scarred but I was trying not to think about it and tried to enjoy my last moments on Earth as much as possible.
Right now, I was in my garden, with my friends at night. We decided to eat outside, around a camp fire, eating marshmallows and burgers. We were laughing, sharing childhood memories and jokes. Everybody was making sure not to speak too fast so Arthur could read on their lips and I was glad they accepted him the way he was. I was sure they would stay in touch, even without me.
"How are you feeling? Are you cold? Do you want me to get you something?" Arthur whispered in my ear. I shivered as I felt his arms around my waist, hugging me from behind while putting his chin on my shoulder.
"I'm fine; my head is hurting but nothing new." I answered, looking at his gorgeous baby blue eyes before kissing his lips gently. He closed his eyes, kissing me back and pulling me closer. I broke the kiss, panting heavily and put my cheek again his, enjoying the warmth of his body against mine. I was going to miss this. I took a deep breath, enjoying the fruity scent and the way he was stroking the skin on my back.
Next to me, Amelia and Eddy were watching the stars while speaking about astrology things. I stared at the sky, wondering what happened once you die. Of course, nobody can answer that question for sure but I didn't want to believe that everything would stop in a few weeks. I wanted to believe that I would keep an eye on my family, friends and boyfriend; that I would protect them.
"What are you thinking about? You've been watching the stars for at least ten minutes with a sad look..." Arthur asked me, a worried look on his perfect face.
"...Nothing important... The stars are beautiful tonight, don't you think so?" I asked, trying to change the subject. I didn't want kill the good mood; not tonight.
"You're right." He said, giving me a small smile. I could see in his eyes that he didn't really believe me but I was glad he decided not to ask more questions.
After a while, we decided it was time to sleep. We extinguished the fire and entered into our tents. Amelia and Eddy were sharing one and Arthur and I were sharing the other. There wasn't a lot of space inside, but I didn't mind it; on the contrary. Being next to Arthur was just perfect and I was determined to make these moments as special as possible.
I was lying down, next to my very handsome boyfriend, staring at his face with a small smile on my lips. His eyes were closed but I knew he wasn't asleep. Slowly, I put one of my hands on his cheek and began stroking it lovingly. He put his hand onto mine and opened his eyes before smiling a little. I smiled back and pecked his lips. Just when I was about to pull away, he put his other hand behind my head and deepened the kiss. Our tongues danced together for a moment and I pulled away, totally out of breath.
"Are you tired or do you want to do something else?" He asked me in a husky voice. He sounded so sexy that even if I was tired, I couldn't say no... Not that I wanted to in the first place.
"Did you have something in mind?" I asked with a smirk. He smirked back and smashed his lips to mine. Soon enough, our clothes were thrown in a corner of our small tent, leaving us naked to share and enjoy our love.

"Time to wake up lovebirds!!!" Amelia and Eddy screamed together while they opened our tents, letting the sunlight enter. I groaned and opened my eyes. Arthur was still sleeping next to me and he looked absolutely adorable. His blond hair was curled up all around his head and he was slightly snoring. After making sure the covers were totally covering our bodies, I stared at Amelia and Eddy with wide eyes.
"What are you doing there?! W-What time is it?!" I asked in a high pitched voice.
"It's almost 10am! Your parents made breakfast and we're all waiting for you!! You have ten minutes, if you're not in the kitchen when the time is over; we will come back and you will definitively regret it." Amelia said with a big smile and bright eyes. It was almost scary to see how happy she was about that.
"And I would definitively enjoy the view." Eddy said, winking at me before bursting out of laughing. I rolled my eyes, threw a pillow at them and they left, laughing at their joke. I watched them walking toward the house and I closed the tent again before turning my head toward Arthur. Gently, I kissed his cheek, forehead, and nose before finally kissing his full, gorgeous lips.
Not too long after that, he opened his eyes and watched me through tired eyes while he muffled a yawn. "Amelia and Eddy are waiting for us, apparently my parents made breakfast and they are waiting. We have a bit less than ten minutes before they come back. And believe me, they will." I said, rolling my eyes a little which made him chuckle.
We dressed ourselves as quickly as possible and, once we were fully ready, we entered into the house. The good smell of pancakes hit me as soon as I opened the door. It made me realize that I was really, really hungry. "Hello mum, hello dad." I said with a small smile as I entered into the kitchen.
I kissed my parents' cheeks and sat on a chair, next to Amelia. Arthur took the other chair next to me and my mother gave us our plates full of delicious, yummy pancakes. I took an enormous mouthful of pancakes, enjoying the warmth and the sweetness of it. My mother was definitively the best cook on Earth; I would miss her cooking.
My parents were looking at me with sad eyes but they were trying to hide their sadness and I really admired them for that. They were so strong, smiling and trying to make me feel good even though losing a child was one of the hardest things on Earth. Wow. Just wow. I loved them so much.
Once breakfast was over, Eddy had to leave because his parents were waiting for him. He hugged me for a good ten minutes before letting me go. He promised me to come again tomorrow and I was glad he was there. He was a great friend even though we only met him not too long ago, I totally trusted him.
Not too long after, Amelia and Arthur left too. Well, Amelia mostly dragged Arthur out of the house because he didn't want to leave. But then, she made a few signs with her hands and he only nodded with a small smile which made me really confused; especially when none of them wanted to tell me their small conversation. Amelia hugged me and kissed my cheeks hundreds of times before letting me go. The hardest part was to say goodbye to Arthur. He had tears in his eyes and I could hear his silent sobs while he was hugging me. I knew he was suffering and I hated it. I hated it so much; I wish I could do something to make him feel better....
Now, it was only my parents and me. I thought it was going to be awkward but I was wrong. We decided to watch my favorite movie "The Little Mermaid". I was sitting between my parents on the sofa. They both had they arms around me and I could feel them watching me from the corner of their eyes time to time but I decided to ignore it. It was understandable after all.
Maybe I didn't have a lot of time left but I was decided to enjoy it as much as I could. And that's what I was doing. My friends, boyfriend and family were the most important things I had and I was going to spend every instant with them.
After all, I still had a few weeks before the end...Right?
