Reid's POV
The vacation with Dakota's parents was great. Half of the week we were with them, hanging out. The other half, it was just me and my boy, having the time of our lives.
I officially moved in when we came back, seeing as it was time to start school. It wasn't much different since I barely came home.
The Shea's had built the pool in the back yard and I swam as much as possible. Even if Dakota didn't want to get in, he'd sit to the side and watch me. Just for a while before I convinced him to come in.
"Please baby?" I asked him, poking my lip out as I leaned up to him. I was standing between his legs and he groaned.
"My hair looks fucking amazing right now, and you want me to get in the water?" I nodded slowly.
"I think it looks amazing all the time." I told him. He rolled his eyes but smiled.
"You're just saying that." I shook my head and he leaned down to kiss me.
"I'm not just saying it. Your hair usually looks like this, unless you're just waking up." He ran his hands through my wet hair and pursed his lips.
"I'll get in if..."
"What?"
"You watch drag with me tonight." I rolled my eyes but nodded. I always told him it was a horrible show, but I actually didn't hate it.
"Fine." He grinned and I pulled him into the water. He yelped and wrapped his legs around my waist.
"I did that just to get you to watch drag with me." I rolled my eyes. "You know I like to swim with you."
"Yes, I do."
"And you know you like to watch drag with me. You're gay." I laughed and dunked him underwater. I pulled him back up and he frowned at me. "You're an ass."
"Of course I am. But, you like that." He shrugged.
"Yeah, but you aren't supposed to be an ass to me, just everyone else." I raised my eyebrow.
"So are these the new terms to our relationship?"
"Yup." I looked at him in fake thought.
"I guess I could deal with that." He smiled and kissed me.
"Eww, gross." I looked up to see Felix standing there, smiling at us.
"What's up dude?"
"Nothing much. The usual gang is having a thing tonight if you guys want to come." Dakota tensed up. He and Sadie never made up. Instead, she had a habit of making him feel bad about the whole thing, and he thinks he deserves it.
"Uhh... I don't think we should go dude." He looked at me knowingly.
"You know she isn't right to keep tormenting you about this." He told Dakota. He shrugged. I looked at Felix.
"We'll pass on it this time." I told him and Dakota sighed.
"I shouldn't be like this." He mumbled to me.
"Well she shouldn't be treating you like that. I never loved her, and I really like you. There's no reason we shouldn't be together. She even knew it." He didn't say anything and I sighed. Felix smiled at us.
"You two are the best couple." Dakota hummed and looked up, a confident look in his eye.
"We're going. I'm not letting her tear me down." I grinned widely, it's so hot when he gets like that.
"Great! I'll see you guys there. At my the lake behind my house."
"Alright, see you." I told him and he left. I looked at Dakota and he had a determined look in his eye. I kissed his neck and he hummed. I'm pretty sure he felt that I was getting hard on his butt. I mean, he was still wrapped around me, very tightly, may I add. "I'm glad you're deciding to go anyway."
"Yeah... I can't be scared of her forever. It would be nice for us to be friends again, but I can't force her to forgive me. You're mine and I should be happy." I smiled and ran my hand down his back to his butt, feeling his hardened member against me.
"You're right, you should. Maybe we should get out." I told him, wanting to go to his room and take care of our problems downstairs.
"But you just convinced me to get in."
"But, you want to take care of that, don't you?" He raised his eyebrow, his eyes twinkling.
"What're you talking about?" I rolled my eyes and started walking towards the stairs.
"Kota, what am I going to do with you?" He giggled and sighed.
"Fuck me." He whispered in my ear. I grinned and tried getting out of the pool quicker.
"Your wish is my command."

We finished up and got dressed quickly.
"We're going to be late." Dakota said, laughing a little as he threw on clothes.
"Who cares?" I said, pulling my shirt on. "At least we're coming." It's the second week of college now, and the crew tries to hang out even more. Thankfully, most of us stayed here. Andy and one of the girls went out of state.
"I agree." We were ready, and starting to head out. I took the keys and Dakota obliged. I put on our shared playlist and Dakota started singing. I smiled, happily. He sang horribly, but I loved it. He was singing one of the songs I introduced him to, 24/7 by the Neighbourhood.
I drove past Felix's house to the lake and parked. I saw the rest of the cars there and we took our seat belts off and got out. I ran around to Dakota and stopped him.
"Hey, are you sure you're okay with this?" He laughed.
"We're here now."
"It's never too late to leave." He shrugged and hugged me.
"I'll be okay. If not, I'll tell you." I nodded. He leaned up and kissed me. "Thank you." I smiled and rubbed his shoulders. I took his hand and we walked towards the lake. They had lights on since it was dark out.
We heard the laughter and everything as we walked up.
They were all sitting in a circle, laughing. The guys were dressed to swim, but it looks like they didn't. Sadie looked up at me and Dakota and began to glare at him. I looked at him as he held his head high. I squeezed his hand and he smiled.
"Hey guys." Dakota said, as we approached.
"Dakota!" Lacie said, standing and running over to hug him. He giggled happily and hugged her tightly. I smiled and went over to the guys. I shook their hands and sat down by Felix.
Oliver was still mostly pissed at me, but he nodded to me.
"Hey man, how are things going?"
"Great bro. Really good." I looked at Dakota as he talked to Lacie and smiled. Oliver shook his head at me.
"Okay." Dakota came and sat by me. Everyone looked at us, then looked away. I'd been thinking we need new friends at this point.
"It's been a while since you two have hung out with us." Sadie said.
"Hmm... wonder why." I replied, rolling my eyes. She laughed a little, the evil bitch.
"So do I." I glared at her and she smiled smugly. "Oh, wait. You're gay now, is that why? How's that going for you?" I opened my mouth and Dakota laughed.
"Oh it's going great honey. In fact, we just celebrated our gayness together." I looked at him, surprised, laughing a little. She began fuming angrily.
"So you're enjoying my boyfriend?"
"Ex, sweetie. And yes, I am." She let out a frustrated yell and everyone looked between the two of them. Dakota had a smug look on his face and I grinned.
"Uhh, okay guys. Let's play truth or dare." Oliver brought up. I hated this truth or dare shit. But I guess it is one of the reasons why Dakota and I are together.
"This stupid game." Dakota muttered, shaking his head. I kissed his cheek and he took my hand in his.
"I know right." I looked up to see Sadie glaring at us.
The game started and I got a truth, asking how long Dakota and I had been together. Not officially dating, just together.
Sadie stared at me, her eyes narrowed.
"Almost three months." She nodded, scoffing.
"It'd been that long huh." She muttered, shaking her head. I shrugged, not caring. Dakota began to shake his leg a little.
He got a truth or dare next. He chose dare, but thankfully it was from Lacie. It was a stupid dare, he had to text someone in his phone that he had gentital herpes.
The game went smoothly for a while, then Oliver got a turn to dare me.
"I dare you to kiss Sadie." I frowned and she smiled at Dakota smugly.
"You know that's controversial and you'd still make it a dare you ass." I glared at him and he shrugged.
"You can do it." Dakota told me. "It's a dare."
I sighed and nodded, letting go of his hand. I walked over and sat by Sadie.
I leaned in and she pulled me into her, crashing her lips into mine. I pulled back and wiped my lips.
"I love you." She told me. I shook my head and Dakota stared at her. I sat by him and grabbed his hand.
"Are you okay?" He looked at me, his eyes glossed over and he nodded. I sighed and wrapped my arm around his waist. "We can go if you want."
"I'm so sorry, I'm such a bad friend. I just kissed your boyfriend... oh wait... you did the same thing. But worse." I glared at Sadie, standing up to say something but Dakota did instead.
"You're a bitch Sadie! Reid never loved you, and you knew it! You told me the two of you wouldn't last. I felt so bad about it, but I like him. I still feel horrible about it, and you can hate me, I get it. But just leave me alone! I don't want to hear about it anymore!" He stomped away and I glared at her.
"He didn't want to hurt you. Stop trying to hurt him to pay it back, he's hurting already." I yelled and followed behind him. "Dakota!" I yelled behind him. He stopped at his car and leaned on the door.
"I'm okay Reid, leave me alone." I looked at him and he had tears coming to his eyes. I sighed and hugged him.
"No... I can't."
"She's right. I shouldn't have done this."
"But Kota, she's just trying to make you feel bad. You're happy now and you don't deserve this." He hugged me tightly.
"Maybe. You really don't think I'm a bad person for this?" I shook my head, holding his head in my hands.
"No, of course not. You felt horrible about this and like you said, she can be mad. But, she shouldn't be tormenting you about it." He nodded and I kissed him. He smiled and hugged me again. "You're an ugly crier too, you know?" He laughed loudly.
"Oh whatever, you still think I'm cute." I grinned and shrugged.
"Maybe I do, maybe I don't. Let's get out of here." He nodded and we left.
