Liam.

When we got downtown the festival already began. There were kids with cotton candy and parents shuffling out money for them.

There were game booths and small rides.

(Carousel by Melanie Martinez just came on so wowza coincidence?)

Brett and I walked into the restaurant we were eating at for lunch. It had soups and salads and fresh bread and was a nice place.

"This definitely makes up for our time apart," I said as I rubbed over his knuckles with my fingers.

He looked down at me and smiled.

"I'm glad you're enjoying yourself," Brett said. I nodded.

We ate quickly and payed for the bill, then walked outside.

"Let's go look over here," Brett said.

I followed him.

We were looking at a table full of bracelets, but most of them had a weed symbol on them and neither of us smoked so we moved onto the other ones.

"Liam?" Someone called from behind me.

I turned around to see Scott and Kira walking towards us.

"Hey, Scott. Kira," I smiled.

Kira smiled back and her eyes flickered to Brett.

Scott gave me a confused look.

"Who's the wolf?" Kira asked. Scott seemed like he was going to ask a similar question.

"This is Brett, my boyfriend," I said.

Scott's eyes got a little wide.

"Since when?" He asked.

"A while. Like October," I said. Brett stood closely next to me.

"And it's May. Didn't you ever think it'd be important to tell us? Especially the fact that he's a werewolf. And a he," Scott said.

"Well we don't talk very much anymore, I'm barely part of the pack," I said. It was true.

"You stopped going. We assumed you didn't want to be with us anymore," Kira chimed in.

"It wasn't that. Liam was just taking time to think about things," Brett said. I nodded in agreement.

"Alright Liam. When you're done thinking, we can really use your help. Something is here, and we need all the help we can get to take it down," Scott said.

"The pack of Chimeras," Brett said, looking at Scott.

He nodded.

"How'd you know?" Scott asked.

"My alphas mentioned it a few times," Brett said.

"Who's you're alpha? Are you guys living in Beacon Hills?" Kira asked.

"Satomi. And yeah, we are," Brett said.

Scott and Kira both nodded.

"I've heard of her. You guys are a strong pack," Scott said.

Scott turned to me.

"We even called up Peter and Derek's sister, Cora. We need as much help as we can get, so feel free to stop by at Derek's loft sometime," he said.

I nodded.

"I will. I'm sorry I haven't been there."

Scott grabbed Kira's hand.

"It's alright. We'll see you guys around then."

They walked away, leaving Brett and I alone.

"That was a nice chit chat," Brett said. I rolled my eyes and laughed.

A/N : alright so blah blah okay so this book may get into some more werewolf stuff and lacrosse stuff and yeah. Short chapter again but updated yesterday also.
