The past few days have been quiet, I mean we still see Allison and her friends. But there hasn't been any attacks, deaths, or even threats.

"Hey, stiles!" Lydia says dragging Jackson with her. "are you going to the Halloween dance? It'll be fun" she says trying to persuade me.

"No" I say smiling.

"Aww, why not?" She asked

"Have we just met, or did you forget that I'm socially awkward?" I say grabbing my books. "besides I don't even have anyone to go with, or a costume"

"Um, did you forget about a big, handsome, tall, grumpy wolf?" She asks turning me around.

"Your going and your going with Derek, and go find a Halloween costume after school" she said demanding "bye see you tomorrow" she yells. Great how am I supposed to ask Derek, I mean he hates parties. Right? I thought quietly to myself.

"Yo, stiles" Scott says walking towards me with Kira.

"you going to the dance?" Kira asked crossing her fingers "please say yes, or I'll cut you" I hope she's kidding.

"Sadly, I'm being forced to go" I said sighing.

"By who?" Scott asked

"By little miss perfect" I said referring to Lydia. "She's forcing me to take Derek"

"What are you going to be?" Kira asked

"don't say a vampire or werewolf" I chuckle.

"I don't know" I said "I'm going shopping after school" the bell rang. "alright see you guys later" I yell running to my next class. school went by fast, next thing you know I'm walking to my jeep. I head to Derek's to tell him the news.

"Hey, babe" Derek greets me with a long kiss.

"Hey, um I need to ask you something" I say breaking our kiss.

"Yeah, what?" He asked

"Every year the school has a Halloween dance, and I was wondering if you wanted, to go?" I ask "but I need to get a costume"

"No" was all he said

"Please Lydia is forcing me, and she said take you" I say begging "please, please, please" I beg giving him puppy dog eyes. He looked at me, and finally gave in.

"Fine" he said

"Yes!" I said standing up.

"Only if I get to choose your Halloween costume" he demands.

"Ok" I say gabbing my keys and dragging him out the door. We get to the mall, and go to the costume store.

"Ok, choose away" I said gesturing to the racks of costumes.

"How about this?" Derek asks holding up a police costume.

"You want me to be my dad?" I ask looking at him.

"No, no,no. next costume" he says immediately throwing the police outfit. we've been in the store for about 2 hours.

"I found it!" I hear Derek yell.

"Found what?" I ask walking to him, he ills out a male red riding hood costume. I give him an annoyed face.

"Really funny" I said "I didn't know you had a sense of humor"

"You said I can choose and I choose this" he said smirking

I grunt

"fine, but can I choose yours?" I ask "it's only fair"

"Ok, ok. you can choose mine, go try it on" he says pushing me to the dressing room. I get in and look at the costume, it's not bad. It comes with, red jeans, a cape, even a basket, But no shirt.

"Um I think the shirts missing" I tell Derek on the other side.

"Aw man" I can see him smiling on the other side.

"It's ok I'll use my red plaid shirt at home" I say. I look out and see Derek frowning. "what? Did I ruin the look?" I ask smiling. "Don't worry, I'll wear it at home to" that made him smile so big, I could see his teeth. I pack the costume, and walk out of the dressing room.

"Let's pick your costume" I say grinning ear to ear. I immediately pick out an Indian costume. "Here" I say giving it to him.

"I guess this is fair" he grabs it and heads to the dressing room. he walks out a minute later. "how do I look?" My mouth falls open when I look. He looked gorgeous, he wore fake animal hide shoes, pants, and he had the vest the showed his biceps. He also had on a feather band, and a neckless with teeth on them. I blush when he noticed me looking at him.

"What?" He asked "come on you've seen me naked" he gave me a flirtatious look. "Anyways I think this will do, I mean I think it's a little open, but you seem to like it"

"Huh, oh, yup, totally. I think this is perfect" I said walking away. Derek rolled his eyes and went back into the changing room. "hurry up,i can't wait any longer" I yelled to Derek who was still in the dressing room.

"I'm sorry" he says when he walks out "I couldn't get those feathers out, the quills kept stabbing my head"

"Yeah, yeah. hurry my dad almost home" I said putting everything on the counter.

"That will be 46.50, with tax" the clerk said. I noticed that she was checking Derek out. he noticed because he looked away awkwardly.

"So babe" I say graving his arm "after school I'll pick you up and we can go, so be ready at 4" I looked at her, and she was looking away.

"Here's your things" she said "have a nice day"

"thank you" I said grabbing them. We leave, and get to my house ok. "do you need a ride?" I asked Derek.

"No I'll walk home" he said "but I'll love to stay"

"Ok, but if you do and you wake up, wake me up please I have a test tomorrow. I don't want to miss it" I say unlocking the door. "dad I'm home!" I yell "Derek's here too" my dad immediately ran out of the kitchen. he stopped and helped us with the bags when all that was done we watched some tv.

"So, how was school son?" My dad asked "anything new?"

"Not really, Lydia's forcing me to take Derek to the dance tomorrow." I said "so we had to get costumes"

"What are you going to be?" My dad asked curiously. I can't tell him red riding hood. I got it.

"A werewolf" I blurted out. My dad looked at me strange.

"Don't you think that you already seen a lot of that?" He asks pointing to Derek.

"No, I want to see how I look" I say feeling my face.

"Ok, well I'm heading to bed" he said "I work early, nite"

"Goodnight dad" I say scooting closer to Derek.

"Oh guys" my dad said "if your going to play, make sure I don't hear" and he went to his room. Me and Derek blushed at each other. we both fell asleep cuddling.

"*Yawn*" I woke up on the couch next to Derek. I get up and brush my teeth, first I check if my dad is still here. Nope he left already.

"Good Morning" I jump to see Derek awake.

"Hey" I say smiling

"Arn't you late?" He asks, I'm confused. I look at the time.

"Shit" I say running to get cloths on "every time you stay, in late"

"Not true" he said "i need to go see you after school"

"Bye" I say grabbing my bag. It didn't take me long to get to school.i get to chemistry on time. I sit next to Scott. I think this is the only period we all have together.

"Stiles, did you get a costume?" Lydia asked "if you didn't bad things will come your way"

Yes and what is that supposed to mean?" I say scooting away.

"What are you going to be?" Kira asked looking into the textbook.

"Secret" I say pretending to zip my mouth shut.

"I'm being the mad hatter" Lydia said "I will look gorgeous"

"Why not the evil queen?" Scott asked getting a slap from Lydia. "Hey!!!" He yelled.

"What are you going to be?" Lydia asked Scott.

"The hulk" Scott said looking miserable

"Why?" I ask

"Ask her" he said pointing to Kira

"What? He picked mine" Kira said

"Well what are you?" I ask

"*sigh* I'm black widow" she said dropping her head. "So I thought we should match"

"Wow I didn't even know you were a couple" Aidan said

"What, huh, no!" Scott started rambling. "I mean are we?" He asks Kira

"I.... don't know" she said "I need to go see you later" Kira said running off. me and Aidan looked at Scott confused.

"I need to go to, bye" he said running the opposite direction.

"Isn't his class the other way?" Lydia asked. The rest of the day went by fast, as usual. everyone is setting up for the dance.

"Yo Ethan!" I yell, he turns around and puts down the streamers. "Your the one in control of the dance?"

"Yup" he answered

"Do you have a costume?" I ask

"Shit, I forgot" he says "I'll ask Lydia to throw something together" he says continuing what he was doing. I walk away once he forgot I was here.the dance starts in an hour, and I don't know where Derek is.

"Hey" I hear Derek say behind me.he's wearing the costume.

"Did I already tell you how hot you look?" I ask checking him out.

"No, but you thought it" he says grabbing me and kissing me. I could see the attention we're getting. even though I told my dad and all my friends not everyone knows. we break the kiss and Derek gives me my costume. "Put it on we'll get something to eat" he said walking to his car. I get ready and walk out.

"Ready" I said getting in. "where we goin?" I ask when we leave the parking lot.

"What do you want to eat?" He asks looking at me.

"I could go for a burger" I say pointing to McDonald's. We pull over to eat, it took about 15 min to eat. "Let's go, Lydia's going to kill me if we're late"

"Ok, ok I'm coming" he says unlocking his car. "why are you so scared of Lydia?"

"One time I didn't go one of her parties" I shivered a little "lets just say I couldn't sit for a week"

"Wow, she's that ruthless?" He asks pulling into the school parking lot.

"Yup" I say "there's a parking spot" he pulls in "lets go" I said getting out.

"I still can't believe you made me wear this" I say taking a step forward, he grabbed my arm and pulled me close.

"You look great" he said staring into my eyes "and if anyone says anything. I'll rip their throats out" I chuckled a little.

"Yeah, that's why I love you" he gave me a kiss and we walked in. there were so many costumes. literally I think I saw a clown ballerina. I immediately saw Lydia talking to Aidan, more like making out. I see Ethan and Isaac. looking bored, and Scott and Kira talking next to the punch bowl. me and Derek walk towards Lydia and Aidan, pushing through the crowd of people. How many people go to dances? When we finally make it, Lydia hugs me and Aidan just smiles. I don't get a hi? Guys are weird, wait I am one.

"You made it" I barely hear Scott through the noise. Ethan and Isaac walks to us too.

"Anyone seen Allison?" I Isaac asks

"No" Scott says looking puzzled

"That's what I was afraid of" Isaac says looking around "I don't see her group either" that's when I hear someone scream, and everyone runs for the exit.

"What's going on?" I ask Derek. He sighs and says.

"Can't we ever have a normal date?" And his claws shoot out. Allison and her friend are all in the middle of the dance floor. Ross is wearing a Devils outfit, with no shirt. I'm sorry he is a pervert but he's still hot. Derek hits the back of my head and Aidan pinches Lydia. "stop staring you two" Derek says. Damon and Stefan both wore Cheshire Cat costumes, while Elena was a cat. Danny had on a prince outfit.Allison was wearing an angel costume with wings.

"Hey guys" she asked "how's the dance?"
