"Hey y/n"

I look over and see MJ holding up a drawing of me... I looked miserable.

"This is you"

"Thank you, MJ"

She put It down and walked beside me

"So why exactly do you look so frowny?"

"Oh um no reason"

"Really? No reason?"

She glanced at me and gave me look. She wanted me to tell her.

"Fine I um... Peter has a crush on Liz"

"Oh... how did you find out?"

"I heard him talking about it to his- I mean on his phone"

"To who?"

"I didn't hear who it was"

"Ah. That sucks"

"Yeah.. it does"

As I turned the corner to make my way to class, I saw Peter passing by with the principal next to him. He glanced at me guiltily before continuing to walk. Then I had an idea.

What if I stop Vulture myself? I don't need Peter there to back me up. I'm capable of doing it all by myself. Yeah!

"Hey MJ-"

I turned to tell her a made up excuse but she was gone.. how does she do that?

Anyway I ran towards the exit doors and made my way towards my apartment. It seems like I haven't been there in a while so I was glad I was going back.

I slipped on my mask and I sighed

"Hey, Lucy"

"What can I do for you?"

"Um, last Friday when we were at that gas station, do you remember their faces?"

"Yes. I recorded everything that happened"

"Recorded?"

"Yes. I record everything you see"

"Everything?"

"Everything"

"Wow that's... anyways, could you go back to that time?"

"Sure thing"

A video popped up and started playing. When it got to the part where they were going to shoot that other guy, I told Lucy to pause it.

"Okay so who are they?"

"I don't have any database on two of the individuals"

"Damn"

"One individual identified. Aaron Davis, age 33. He has a criminal record and an address here in queens"

"Alright then, lets go"

"Would you like me to activate the enhanced interrogation protocol?"

"What's that?"

"Activating enhanced interrogation protocol"

"Lucille I-"

I noticed my voice had deepened and it shocked me

"Whoa. It's... different but I don't think it's necessary"

"Deactivating enhanced interrogation protocol"

"Let's just stick to the OG plan. Find him and talk"

I jumped out of your window and followed my lead to where he could be.

"Hi friend!"

He jumped and I froze his feet to the floor. He relaxed when he saw me.

"Oh. It's you"

"Yeah I need some information about the other day, give it to me. What are they doing with these weapons? Do you have any names?"

He stared at you silently.

"Um hello?"

"The other day your friend said 'if you're gonna shoot anybody, shoot me.' Pretty ballsy. I don't want those weapons in this neighborhood either, I got a nephew who lives here"

"So do you know anything about the guy with the wings?"

"Other than he's a psychopath dressed like a demon, nothing. I don't know who he is and where he is"

"Damn it..."

You turn around and sighed.

"I do know where he's gonna be"

You stopped and turned back around.

"Where?"

"Stan Island ferry, 11. Crazy dude I used to work with is doing a deal with him"

"Cool, thanks"

I walked away but he yelled out

"Aye! Come fix this!"

"It'll melt!.. Sooner or later!"

"I got ice cream in here, man!"

"Sorry!"

Yes! Just in time!

The ferry was moving away from the dock and I had jumped onto it. I made sure to stay hidden from the windows.

"Lucille, do we have a drone?"

"Yes. Would you like me to activate drone reconnaissance?"

"That would be great. And enhanced reconnaissance mode too"

"Activating enhanced reconnaissance mode and drone reconnaissance"

A little snowflake floated out of my suit and I smiled at it. I got this.

I focused on the guy that was at the bridge.

"Who's the other guy-"

I heard a thump that came from my left.

"Y/n... hey..."

I sighed and looked back into the ferry.

"Who's the guy behind him, Lucille?.."

"I have no record of him in my criminal database."

"Alright. Hmm... Snowflake, keep an eye on him for me."

The drone floated next to the window and I jumped higher. Peter followed behind me silently. Not for long, of course.

"Y/n, can we talk about the whole.. You know.. Liz thing?"

I winced at her name.

"Why? If you like her, you like her"

"That's the thing... I still love you.."

I paused but ignored him.

"Who's that guy on the left?"

"Mac Gargan. Extensive criminal record including homicide. Would you like me to activate instant kill?"

"No, I'm not killing anyone"

I saw the guy come out of the ferry.

"White pickup truck"

"Snowflake, scan the ship for a white pickup truck"

This is perfect! The weapons, buyers and the sellers all in one place. And I did it all without pe-

"Incoming call from Tony Stark"

Damn it.

"Lucille no wait-!"

"Mr. Parker and L/n. Got a sec?"

"No we're at school"

"No you're not"

"Nice work in DC. My dad never really gave me a lot of support and I'm just trying to break the cycle-"

Peter stood up and looked over the edge

"We're kind of in the middle of something-"

"Don't cut me off when I'm complimenting you. Anyway great things are about to- what was that?"

The horn on the ship loudly interrupted Tony

"Um I'm at band practice?"

"That's odd. Happy told me you quit band six weeks ago. What's up?"

I interrupted Peter and Tony

"Look, the principal just called us to his office, we gotta go. End call."

"End call!"

"Hey-"

His image disappeared and a web shot out of Peter's wrist

"I'll take those!"

He pulled the weapon from the man's hand and jumped down.

"Take care of this. I'm going for the weapons"

I ran into the parking garage and looked for the truck. Suddenly a guy jumped into the truck. Wings shot their way out of its interior and out came Vulture. So that's who he is. He shot a laser at me while also coming at me at full speed. I dodge and gripped onto his leg. He tried shooting at me and shaking me off, all of which failed.

I aimed my hand at the fans in the wings and tried to freeze them but I couldn't get a clear shot. A web shot at his opposite leg and pulled him suddenly. I fell off of his leg.

"Switch to slush!"

"Switching to slush"

I quickly aimed my hand underneath me and converted the water below me to a flexible bed of ice. I jumped back onto the ship just as Peter grabbed the guy's laser gun.

"Activate taser web!"

Vulture let the gun go and it came on to the ship. I ran to go grab it but it started shooting randomly.

"Switch to ice ball"

I shot at the gun and froze it to the ferry's floor. I almost sighed in relief but Vulture called out behind me.

"You're messing with things you don't understand."

I heard the gun shoot and got out of the way just in time to dodge a large laser. A whole bunch of them shot out at once and went through the ferry. It created clean slices through the ferry and it started to fall apart.

"Shit!"

"Oh my god what do we do! Uh Karen, give me an X-ray of the boat and target all the strongest points!"

If he's going inside then I'm going out.

"Switch to extreme blizzard!"

I jumped to the top of the boat and shot out streams of ice into the water. It started to build up and it held up this side of the boat. I quickly crossed to the other side of the boat and did the same thing.

I sighed when the boat stopped moving

"Great job, Y/n. You and Peter were 98 percent successful"

"98?"

The ice started to crack and I could hear snapping from behind me. I tried going over it with more ice but it wasn't working. I jumped over the side, onto the ice and started to try and push the ferry back together.

"No!"

I pushed with everything I had and it seemed I was having minimal effect

Until it started to push itself back together

"What?"

I stopped pushing and stood back on the ice. Then I heard a clunking sound coming from beside me. Small rocket looking things.

"Hi Frost. Spiderman. Principal's office was it?"

My stomach dropped. Mr. Stark.

He pushed the boat back together and began welding it. I jumped back onto the boat and looked over at Mr. Stark and Peter.

"Hey Mr. Stark! Could I do anything, what do you want me to do?"

He looked in between us

"You two have done enough"

He flew away. We were in so much trouble.

I sat next to Peter on top of a building. I saw one of the suits flying towards us and hovered over the rooftop.

"Previously on you two screw the pooch. I tell you to stay away from this. Instead you hacked your multimillion-dollar suits so you could sneak around behind my back doing the one thing I told you not to do"

I stayed quiet but Peter turned his head

"Is everyone okay?"

"No thanks to you two"

"No thanks to us?"

He turned fully and stood on the rooftop

"Those weapons were out there and we tried to tell you about it, but you didn't listen. None of this would have happened if you had just listened to us! If you even cared, you'd actually be here"

The suit opened up and Mr. Stark stepped out. Peter stepped back and I walked towards them.

"I did listen, kid. Who do you think called the FBI, huh? Do you know I was the only one who believed in you? Both of you? Everyone else said I was crazy to recruit 14 year old kids-"

"I'm 15"

"14 year old kids"

"15-"

"No, this is where you zip it! alright? The adult is talking. What if somebody had died tonight? Different story right? 'Cause that's on you. And if you two died, I feel like that's on me. I don't need that on my conscience"

I quickly jumped in, hoping to try and lighten whatever was coming

"Yes sir-"

"Yes"

"We're sorry-"

"Sorry doesn't cut it"

"We understand.."

Peter talked again

"I just wanted to be like you"

"And I wanted you two to be better. Okay, it's not working out, I'm gonna need the suits back"

I almost gasped but held it in

"For how long?"

"Yeah, for how long?"

"Forever"

"Wait, Mr. Stark please!"

"No, no please!"

"Yeah. That's how that works"

"Please-"

"Let's have it"

"You don't understand! This is all I have, I'm nothing without this suit!"

"If you're nothing without the suit then you shouldn't have, okay? God, I sound like my dad"

".. I don't have any other clothes"

"Me either.."

"Okay, we'll sort that out"

You guys. Just hear me out. I'm lazy, okay? Doesn't make anything better but it explains why I took so long. I'm sorry :( but I made the chapter longer to satisfy you guys until I'm done with the next chapter. I'm not making any promises. That being said , I don't know when the next one will be out. Anyways I hope you enjoyed it ❤
