"N-no. no, I'm good. Just tripped on my own feet is all," Harry laughs nervously. He tucks a piece of his brown hair behind his ear as the stranger skates over to him like it's nothing. He stops and stands there with his arms crossed. Harry smiles again and attempts to get up resulting in another fall on his ass. A few giggles come from the man as Harry looks up at him. His hand is outstretched for him to grab. Harry turns red with embarrassment and grabs it.

"I'm Louis."

"Harry."

Louis nods and as soon as Harry lets go of his hand he skates off doing a tricky looking spin. "I find it kind of ironic that you work here and you don't even know how to skate."

"I-I was never taught. And I need this job to pay off some university loans," Harry replies.

"No where on the application did it say that knowing how to skate was a requirement."

Louis looks back and rolls his eyes with a laugh.

Harry puffs out some air and moves his foot, not even a centimeter, before he starts to grab thin air to keep his balance. His knees wobble and before he goes down for another tumble, Louis grabs him from behind. Harry sighs in relief but freezes when Louis' lips brush against his ear, "you okay?"

"Y-yeah, I'm fine. I think I just need to get off t-the ice." Louis nods and basically holds him like a toddler back to the entrance of the rink. Harry swallows the lump in his throat, "how come you were late today?"

Louis chuckles, "I didn't know I had to be here at a certain time."

Harry's green eyes bulge and he tries to recover. "No you don't I w-was just saying and you always come at around t-the same time and I just thought that-"

"It's okay Harry I was only joking," Louis smiles. Harry stops and dusts ice off his jacket. He grins back relieved, "oh."

"Do you want me to teach you how to skate?"

"No thanks," Harry replies. "I'd rather just watch." Louis laughs and begins a lap around the rink. Harry sits down on a nearby bleacher smiling softly. And that's just what he does. Watch.
