*Jack's P.O.V

I was very greatful to Hiccup for taking the time to take me. It would've been easy to refuse a total stranger, but he didn't. It made me happy to see that there are nice people.

Standing in Hiccups room, I watched as he went from the bed to the drawers, collecting clothes for the trip. I stood there with my hands in my hoodie, leaning against the door.

"Here," Hiccup said, throwing folded clothes my way. I caught them and raised a brow.

"Why are you handing me these?" I asked.

Hiccup shrugged. "You needed to change, right?" He asked. "So I gave you my clothes. Go change. The bathroom is down the hall, first door on your left," without another word, Hiccup continued to collect clothes.

Feeling awkward, I patted the clothes and turned around to the hall. I made my way into his bathroom, turning on the light. I looked in the mirror and gasped. When did my hair have blue in it? And why are my eyes a shad darker? What is going on right now?

Dropping the clothes on the sink counter, I stared at myself for a very long time before sighing. I took off my shirt and threw it on the ground. I picked up from the pile a dark blue t shirt. I glanced up and stopped.

At the corner of my eye, I saw a small, darkened line from my torso. Knitting my eyebrows together, I slowly turned around to see a bunch of slash marks. Where the hell did I get these from?

"Hiccup! Come here a sec." I shouted. Not even a minute before I said that, the door shoved open hitting my elbow. I grunted. Hiccup stood there with a worried look in his eyes.

"What?" He asked, releasing  the door handle.

I turned so he could see the markings. "Do you have any idea what these are?" I asked.

"They look like slash marks," he said.

I scoffed. "No shit, Sherlock," I said. "How did I get them?" I asked.

Hiccup shrugged. "A whip? That's my best guess." He said. I felt a warm finger glide down of the slashes, making me shiver.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"It looks painful. Whoever did this is a terrible person." He said under his breath.

I nodded, turning my back away from Hiccup and slid the shirt on over my body. Hiccup sucked in air. "We leave when you are ready." He said, closing the door. I shared a glance at the mirror before putting the blue zip up jacket on and a pair of black, form fitting jeans. A pair of shoes sat on the counter depressingly. I hated shoes and seeing these made me glare at them. With all my attitude, I turned my head sassily and walked out the door away from those feet prisons.

I stopped at the kitchen, seeing Hiccup standing behind the kitchen island. He had on the same green jacket as before, but his pants were brown. He wore black converse and had an army bag slung a crossed his shoulder. He turned and I saw that he had glasses on.

"You ready?" He asked, grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge.

"My staff," I said. "I need my staff before we leave."

Hiccup nodded, going around the counter to the safe. He entered a pin and pulled out a half broken staff. He turned to me. "It was like this when I pulled you out. One end was in each hand." He said, placing it in my hand. I stared at it depressingly.

"Its okay, I can fix it later... I hope," I whispered. I looked up at Hiccup and smiled. "Let's go then," I said.

He nodded, going around me, walking out the front door. The mid- cold air hit me like a rock. It wasnt cold enough to phase me but it did feel good on my skin. Hiccup walked down a rock path in his front yard. Wow, this island has like, no cars nor roads. Well what do you expect with dragon riders.

Hiccup stopped at a small closing at the back and I saw a black dragon sleeping on his back. His tongue sticking out all happily. Hiccup opened the door and whistled.

    "Come on Toothless!" He shouted.

So that's toothless. I was wondering when I would meet him. As Hiccup got the dragon ready I found a rope hanging on the barn, I ran towards it and ripped it off. I tied one end to the other, looping on a leather pouch I found that was meant for double swords. Strapping it around my chest, I put my broken staff being me, safely secured to my back.

"Jack! Come on." Hiccup shouted, sitting on the dragon.

I nodded, running, I jumped up onto the back of Toothless. I saw Hiccup take fix his glasses and look back at me. "Hold on tight." He said.

I chuckled, gripping Hiccups torso. It felt awkward but nice to feel secured. "Okay Toothless, let's go!" He shouted.

Toothless snorted in response, stepping back, Toothless ran forward, stepping on buildings as he caught air. I laughed, watching the island become smaller.

"Woo!" I shouted, throwing my hands in the air.

"The north palace here we come!" Shouted Hiccup.
