Asher's POV-

I haven't heard from Zane in 3 days after that message. School has been the same I know have to hide my burns on my arms. The day my dad came and picked me up I didn't say anything he would just worry to much. Blitzen has been doing good although everytime I see her I think of Zane. Honestly I kinda miss him the way he smiles. I wonder how he would look with his canine teeth his sharp pointy teeth. That could easy rip a human to shreads. You know what I need to get outta town. Maybe me and Mikey could go outta town. Mikey and me have been becoming really good friends. I got up outta my bed and headed for the shower. I took a shower got ready for another day of h*ll.

Zane's POV-

"Come on follow me" I follow the pixie into the forest it was beautiful absolutely breathtaking. I rubbed my hands against the plants. "It's so peaceful" The pixie just smiled and lead me to a waterfall I took off my pants and shirt and got in enjoying the feeling. I dunked my head feeling like I was floating I literally felt all my worries fade away. I came back up seeing the water black and I started to feel pain everywhere. I awoke with a cold sweat seeing I slept in sh*t. I still felt the pain I wish I was there to comfort Asher I will go see him after the ceremony. I put on a pair of jeans and no shirt. I walked out of my old bedroom holding I cold glare fear radiating off everyone. I walked into the kitchen seeing just Isabelle in there. I put away my stone face and kissed her head. 'Morning" she started to tear up "Hey what's wrong?" she looked at me "Dad did that every morning." Even though she was nine she defenitly felt the most pain. I think it's cause dad didn't get to see her grow up like me and Matthew. "Hey it's ok we will kill those hunters you have my word." She sniffled and held out her pinky "Pinky promise" "Pinky promise" I said linking our pinkys. I grabbed my water bottle then put my stone face back on leaving the kitchen.

Asher's POV-

School was over and I spotted Mikey over by a tree reading. "Hey Mikey wanna hang?" He looked at me smiling "Yeah but i have to be at my boyfriends house at 5 we are going outta town for the weekend." I smiled "Alright well what do you wanna do?" "Didn't you already know sense your the one that asked me." I scratched the back of my neck "I fully expected you to say no" He smiled "alright well let me go grab a book I need from the library". I nodded and sat on the steps checking my phone for any messages. I saw a scrawny kid with a bunch of books trying to walk down the stairs. "Here let me help" I grabbed some books he smiled "Thanks my car is right over here." We walked to his car I opened the back door setting the books in the back. "Alright well there you go" I looked behind me when a rag covered my nose. I held my breath the boy punched me in the stomach making me open my mouth. Everything after that is hazy until darkness.

Zane's POV-

I was sitting at my dad's desk doing some property taxes, My phone rang I grabbed it off the charger and answered. "Mikey how is Asher?" "He's gone like I can't find him I can't even get his scent." I quickly stood up "Mikey I trusted you!" He started to cry I sighed "Mikey I am sorry I didn't mean to get mad but I need you to give me everything that happened today." (TIME SKIP) "Then I told him I had to get a library book." I thought "Where are Josh's buddies?" "I heard them saying something about a party." "Invesigate and be on your toes we don't know what these people are capable of." I ended the phone call (Mates gone go find mate) "Now you show up and I can't obviously these people know about me and what if they come after the pack" (Mates more important) "Mikey can handle this" Ryder rolled his eyes my mom came in. "Hey Zane what's wrong?" "Asher's gone" I said although it was muffled as my face is in my hands. "Go find him." "Mom what if they come after the pack? Besides my ceremony is tomorrow I knew I should have just brang him with me." "Against his will babe humans call that kidnapping then we would have a whole new mess on our hands." "Why couldn't I have never met Asher then he wouldn't be in trouble." "Then you wouldn't be nice and wouldn't be becoming alpha honey Asher has changed you fo the better." "That's what i'm worried about"
