Dont hate me, like i literally forgot to update this book >.< I'm giving up watching Paper Towns illegally just 2 write thiz, yw c:

liz brought everyone together to share her exciting news. her ex husband was there, joy, her husband and son, and of course luke.

the two 15 year old boys sat nervously in luke's room. "what do you think she wants?"

calum sighs heavily and shrugs, "i don't know but hopefully it won't hinder us."

luke licked his dry plump lips. "same."

calum rested his head on luke's tiny shoulder. "i love you, lukey."

"i love you too, cally."

calum blushed and smiled loving the way his nickname rolled off the blonde's tongue. "i love you more you idiot."

calum turned to him and softly placed his lips on his best friend's. "i don't think we should do that anymore, calum." luke pulled away quickly.

calum frowned and looked him in the eyes. "wh-why?"

"i don't know.."

calum sighs, "i get it."

"it's not like you're a bad kisser, it's just we're not little kids anymore. we're starting to grow into hormonal teens and..."

"luke stop, i understand. and i swear i'm not hurt."

"calum, please don't be." his intense blue eyes studied the big brown ones.

"i'm fine lucas." calum smiled.

"good."

everyone awkwardly sat in the living room while liz brought snacks and drinks for them. she put them in the middle and smiled widely. "i have the best news!! i got a job in colorado!!!"

joy, david and liz's ex husband cheered clapping for her.

"b-but what about us?" calum motioned to luke and himself.

"calum, if you haven't noticed, luke has a girlfriend, that's why half of the time when he says he's busy, he's hanging out with lulu." liz smiles.

calum's heart dropped. "oh."

"yep! they're the cutest! you should see them!! i mean her parents are planning on moving there after we do! they'll probably be married all i know at the end of the day."

"that's not true at all!" luke argued.

liz raised an eyebrow at her son. "are you kidding me right now? do not lie to everyone here."

"i'm not lying."

liz scoffs, "unbelievable, lucas."

"i would never do that to you, calum..never."

"i believe you, luke." he answers softly.

luke sighs seeing his mom open her mouth again to spill more words.

"calum, luke left your birthday party early. you have to stop relying on him for your every move. i just don't want you to get hurt."

everyone was quiet, and they looked to luke to see his expressions. his jaw was clenched. he hates the way his mom is spilling lies.

"you can believe him all you want, but most of the time when he says he's busy, he's with lulu."

calum tilted his head, "what about when you said that you had to study?"

"cal, don't believe her, she just wants you to hate me so we won't hang out anymore! but she should know i don't like you more than a friend and that i never will!!" yes, i do have a girlfriend name lulu. we've been going out for a while and it has been getting serious."

"why didn't you tell me?" he asked softly rubbing his arm.

"i wanted to but,"

calum bit his lip, "so you could lie to me?"

"don't believe her crap, calum, believe me...please..i can't have you mad at me or sad, i just can't."

david smiled and tilted his head and joy nodded at her husband.

calum sighed getting up and going into the restroom.

"so yep! luke and i are moving in two weeks!!!" liz shouted making sure the small boy heard.

"liz, don't do this to calum and luke."

"my son does not like your son!! he's been blowing him off!! go ahead, believe luke, but when your son gets hurt do not, and i repeat, do not come crying to me, joy."

calum's mom and dad looked towards luke who was fiddling with his small fingers. "luke?"

"yes, mama hood?"

"have you been blowing calum off to hang out with lulu?" joy asked with a huge frown.

liz shook her head in disappointment walking into her grand kitchen.

"i-i...i only did it once or three times, and he should understand! when you're in love you always want to be with that person!"

"so it was worth making calum sad?"

"either way he is going to be sad, i'm not in love with the idea, but if he's my best friend he should not keep me away from her."

joy and her husband nodded.

"excuse me." luke got up from the couch and walked to the rest room. he knocked on the door and he opened it going inside, and locked them in.

"i heard everything..." calum whispered sitting on the closed toilet lid.

"i-"

"luke, stop apologizing. i understand completely. i wish you would've told me though."

"i wanted to, i really did but.."

"what?"

"every time i get a girlfriend you get all mad at me."

calum smiled and stood up facing him. "because you're an idiot."

luke chuckled and looked down at their hands and intertwined their fingers. "i'm going to miss kissing you though. my girlfriend wouldn't like that though."

"fuck her and her feelings!"

"calum no swearing!"

"i like how you didn't call me out on how i just dissed her."

luke removed his hand from calum's, and moved them to his soft cheeks. he placed his forehead on his best friends and leaned down to peck his lips softly. "i love you." luke whispered.

"no you don't."

luke quickly moved away from him with a panicked facial expression and shook his head. "no, i do love you."

"then break up with her and spend more time with me to cuddle and kiss while watching movies."

"that sounds really nice but i'm in love with her."

calum smiled sadly and shrugged. "i miss old us."

"hey, how about tomorrow we have a day of just us ?"

"you're still moving, you're leaving me."

"yeah." luke whispered.

"i'm gonna miss you, baby."

luke  would normally laugh at the nick name, but he was going to miss his cuddly cute friend. "you're so cute, i'm going to miss you like crazy."

calum smiled and hugged his waist tightly. luke wrapped his arms around him tightly not wanting to let go. "you hug and kiss way better than lulu."

calum squealed and blushed in his chest. they hugged for a little while longer.

calum was allowed to stay over and they were currently in bed together. luke had his hand on his cheek and with his left hand he brushed some stray black hair off his cute forehead.

luke already came to the conclusion, calum was better than lulu in every aspect. calum slowly opened his eyes and saw luke staring at him. he smiled and the blonde returned a smile.

"can i kiss you? just this once?" luke asks.

"isn't that like cheati-" before calum could finish his theory he felt warm soft lips press onto his. he smiled into the kiss and allowed luke to roll on him.

this was more intimate than their usual kisses and neither found a way to stop, it just felt so damn good.
