I was helping Tay pack up. It was painful and truthfully overwhelming. My birthday was in two weeks and she wouldn't be here.
A tear ran down my cheek. My dad had already gotten out of the house for good and my family hasn't said a word to each other since. We've all been depressed and with Tay leaving, plus my problems with Kellin, I was coming closer and closer to being suicidal.
There was days I thought about ending it all. Other days, I wasn't happy but I didn't want to die as much. I was even getting bullied at school now for no reason. It's like God turned on me all at once.
"Are you okay?" Tay asked. She must've noticed that I stopped packing.
"I just need a minute." I told her.
"Wait, let me come with you." She said.
"No! You're leaving me and you don't even care! At a bad time too! Why, Tay? Why?" I snapped and walked out the door, slamming it.
She followed me out.
"What?" She asked, confused.
"I can't talk to you right now." I said.
She looked horribly upset. We had never argued before. This fucking hurt.
"It's not my fault!" She yelled.
"Whatever." I said and stormed back to my house.

(A Few Days Later)
I received a text from Tay.
You know I'm leaving today, right?
I didn't reply. I felt bad for snapping on her but I couldn't take it anymore. I was still upset.
-
She stood at the airport with only a carry on. The rest of her stuff got shipped.
She was walking down the hallway but too far to see me. We hadn't talked in days. (That was a new record.)
"Tay!" I yelled. She looked at me and began running. I ran towards we and picked her up into a tight hug.
"I'm sorry for treating you like shit. I'm so so sorry." I said.
"It's okay. I know you didn't mean it. I'm gonna miss you. I'm really gonna miss you." She said and hugged me tighter.
"Fuck." I murmured and I began crying again.
"Flight 730. San Diego to New York. Boarding now." An employee said.
"That's me, hun. This is it, I gotta go." Tay said.
"Okay. I love you." I pulled away so she could walk over. "Keep in touch, okay?" I yelled.
"Love you too! And of course!" She formed her hands into a heart and waved goodbye. I waved back and walked away.

Today was the first day without Tay at school. I was getting ready when I got a text from her.
I miss you.
I replied.
I miss you too.
I threw my phone, feeling sad and almost angry. I collapsed on my bed and cried.
"Are you gonna be okay? You haven't stopped crying since she left." A voice I asked.
I turned to see Mike. "I don't know if I can last without her. It almost feels like she's gone forever." I told him.
"Sorry, man." He said and walked out.
I grabbed my skateboard and left my house. I looked shitty today and I knew it.
When I got to school, Kellin saw me right away. I wasn't in to mood to talk to him. We hadn't gotten any better. If anything, we got worse. I had already started moving on.
"Hey. Where's Taylor?" He asked.
My eyes started watering but I didn't want to cry in front of him. He looked at me confusedly.
"She moved back to New York." I said sadly and looked down.
"Oh. That must suck. Sorry." He said and frowned.
"Yeah. Anyway, I don't want to talk to you right now." I sassed and walked away. Unfortunately, he caught up to me.
"Vic, please stop running away. I didn't mean what I said about Katelynne." He told me.
Last week, he said that I was overdramatic and that dealing with Katelynne's bullshit is easier and better than dealing with me.
"I need you to come over today." Kellin said.
"No." I told him.
"Please?" He begged. "I have something for you."
"Fine, but I swear if I wasted my time liking you, then it's over for good and you're gonna have to stop bothering me." I said.
He smiled for some reason and walked away.

I was in the locker rooms, getting my stuff before heading over to Kellin's. At lunch, I sat alone and Tay wasn't active on her phone. It sucked and I was being stared at like a loser.
"Lonely fag, aye?" Someone said.
I turned my head and saw Oliver, one of the guys who had been bullying me lately.
"Fuck." I murmured. It was too late. I couldn't get out of there.
He pulled me by my shirt and slammed me against one of the lockers. I whimpered.
"Let us get a hit at him, Oli." Tony, one of Oliver's friends. He was referring to himself and his other friend, Jaime. They were their own little posse that just bullied others.
"No, no. Please." I whined.
"Shut up, kid." Oli said and covered my mouth with his hand.
I was getting a phone call. It was probably from Kellin but in my contacts he was listed as "Babe 😻😻" because I mean seriously, it's Kellin.
Oli took my phone out of my pocket and when I reached for it, he pushed me against the wall again but harder.
"Hmmm...Babe, huh? Who would date a piece of shit like you?" Oli asked.
"Let's answer this." He said and pressed the green button.
"Hello?" He asked.
-
"Come over? Who is this?"
-
"Well, Vic won't be over anytime soon. He tried to run away today."
He turned to me.
"Didn't you, Viccy?"
I closed my eyes and gulped.
-
"Whatever. Shut up." And with that, he hung up.
He tossed my phone against the concrete and forcefully pushed me in the direction of the door. I grabbed my newly cracked phone and ran all the way to Kellin's house.

IGNORE TONY AND JAIME IN THIS CHAPTER. I USED THE WRONG CHARACTERS.
