Vic's POV

"Honestly, this day went better than I thought it would. Best Monday of my life." I said to Tay as we walked to my house. Well I walked, she rode my skateboard. She was coming over today so that she could eat dinner with us. My mom loved her to death, and so did the rest of my family to be honest. I think Mike might even have a bit of a crush on her.

"Omigod. Shut up about Kellin already. You've only seen a small bit of his annoying side so dot get too carried away." Tay replied.

"I don't even like him!" I defended.

"Oh yeah sure you don't. You're head over heels for that boy and it's been one day." She accused.

"Okay, fine. He's maybe a little appealing." I lied.

"Get over yourself, Vic." She laughed. "You've already called him hot multiple times today."

"Whatever." I pouted.

I opened the door to my house and Tay hopped off the skateboard to run in before me.

"Vic's got a boyfriend! Vic's got a boyfriend!" She sung while running into our house.

"No I don't!" I yelled back.

"Oh, sweetie! A boyfriend already?" My mom said and rushed over to me, giving me thousands of cheek kisses.

"No, Tay is a liar. I just called a guy cute once." I clarified.

"First of all, you called him hot. Second of all, it was more like one thousand times, Vic." Tay said, giving us her input.

I rolled my eyes and walked over to the couch with my mom and my best friend. Our couch was huge, that way the entire family could fit on it, including Tay of course.

"How about you two and Mike head upstairs? I'm gonna start dinner." My mom suggested.

I nodded at Tay and my brother and we all went upstairs.

"You coming with us?" I asked Mike.

"No thanks. Your room is way too girly for me." He replied.

"Is not!" I argued.

He rolled his eyes and looked at Tay.

"Fine. I'll hang out with you dorks." He said.

"I knew you couldn't resist." I said with a smirk.

"The love of your life is coming again." Tay said as I was stalking Kellin's Instagram for the third time this week.

"Huh?" I said distractedly but by the time I looked up, Kellin was right in front of us.

I got a text from Tay.

I swear if you don't speak again this time I'll shoot you.

I giggled at the text and then looked back up.

"Hey friends." Kellin said.

"Hi." I said simply.

"Hey, look at that! You're talking today." He said with a smile.

I blushed and tried to hide it.

"He talks all the time. Just not to you." Tay said.

She knew me so well.

Kellin frowned.

"Well I guess if you don't like me, it'd probably be a little silly to give you guys these." He said as he pulled out two invitations.

"What are they for?" I asked him nervously.

"My pool party on Saturday..." He said and bit his lip without knowing he was doing it.

The thought of him with his hair wet and shirtless sent my heart on fire. I swallowed air because with that idea on my mind, I couldn't breathe.

"I'll go if you go." Tay said to me.

"I guess I'm in then." I told her then looked back at Kellin.

"Good." He said and nodded to himself. "Really good." He smiled and walked away.

Damn, his ass was beautiful. And those legs. And his hips too. And don't get me started on his-

"Vic!" Tay yelled and pulled me out of my thoughts.

"I saaaaid you're staring."

"Oh. Sorry." I replied embarrassedly.

She rolled her eyes. "How the hell are you gonna last at this pool party?"

"I... I don't know."

Guys I'm so happy with how well this is going! For future reference: if I ever feel like giving a quick update as a filler, I might just upload one chapter instead of the full set of four. I have some really good surprises for the pool party which are gonna be in the next chapter! Oh also, since theres already Jalex, should I make mike fall for Tay or Tony????
