Kellin's POV

Something about that kid was off. I don't know, he just seemed constantly nervous.

I observed him as he walked away. He knew that Tay girl and they seemed really close. I wonder if they're dating. A part of me hoped they weren't but I'm not sure why.

I had already seen Vic in two of my classes today, but now it was lunch and I couldn't find him.

Why I was looking for him? Not sure, but I wanted to talk to him.

I spotted him a few seconds later, with Tay again. I got up from my seat to go talk to the pair of brunettes.

Just when I began to walk over, I was interrupted by a different brunette and a ginger.

"Hey Kellin." Katelynne said and looked me up and down.

"Hi, Katelynne. What's up Dani?" I replied.

Danielle's eyes widened as the two walked away.

"OMG! He called me Dani!" She said to Katelynne without knowing I could still hear them.

"Shut up." Katelynne replied to her best friend, sternly.

I continued walking, this time with a smirk, loving the effect I had on the girls here.

Vic and Tay were talking when I sat down in the spot between them.

"Hey guys." I said warmly.

"Hi, Kellin." Tay said with a bit of sass.

Vic simply looked down. He must've not liked the idea of me talking to his girlfriend.

"Why all the sass, Queen Jardine?" I joked.

"What do you want, huh? Just leave us alone." She said.

"Awe. I'm sorry for bothering you two." I whined and got up.

"Wait." Tay said.

I turned around,feeling content.

"Yes?" I asked.

"You can hang with us, I guess. But only if you don't act like your usual bratty self." She said.

"Me? Bratty? Geez it was better hanging out with the other stupid football players." I said, faking offence. I got up and walked back over to my usual seat, next to Gabe.

-

As we walked to football practice from my house, Gabe had a suspicious look towards me.

"What?" I asked, annoyed.

"You got something for that Tay girl, huh?" He asked with a smirk.

"Ew, oh god no!" I said. "She's cute and all but her attitude is shit."

"So is yours." Gabe replied.

"Shut up." I snapped.

"Then what is it? You got something for the new mexican kid?" He asked. "I didn't know you played for that team, Kells." He joked and backed away from me.

"No! I'm not gay! Just shut up. You're stupid." I said and walked away, getting to the football field faster than the tea of the team.
