Clint POV

After the funeral

On the drive back to the avengers tower for the party afterwards. I noticed that every flag in New York were lowered to the middle of the flag poles.

A few minutes later we get to the avengers tower I rush to the elevator and click roof. it's take about three minutes to get to the roof.

I walk to railing and look out over New York and then my heart stops.

I see that everyone in the whole city has gathered in front of the avengers tower.

I rush back down to where the party was taking place. When I get there I get up on the bar

"Everyone listen up! go outside." I yell. no one says anything but all slowly walk to the stairs or elevator.

When we all get outside I start crying with joy as I read the signs the people are holding. no one from the press people at all.

The ones that made me cry were.

"We love quick silver because he saved our Hawkeye"

"Quicksilver one of the greatest men ever!"

"Hawksilver for life"

"We love Pietro the man who saved our archer Hawkeye"

As we walked through the crowd we noticed that we were stopped at a flag which had not been lowered yet. And in front of it stood two large amps on the left and right and microphone in the middle.

A teenage girl no older than 13 got out of the crowd and went up to mic and began to speak.

"Hello avengers I bet your surprised and hopefully pleased that we as a city decided it wouldn't be right if we didn't do this for one of our avengers whom sadly has fallen during your battle with ultron. as we all know he died saving hawk eye whom was saving a little boy. hawk eye and Pietro's twin sister Wanda please come up here" I quickly walk up and Wanda follows me.

" now I would like you two to do the honors of lowering the last flag in the world. We will have you two do that at the end of the party. but the main point for doing this is this" she points to the sky as fireworks shoot up spelling out Pietro's name in a silvery light and then the two blue fireworks are fired making the avengers sign.

" and this" two more people from the audience come up to me and wanda. They handed us glass triangle frames with an avengers flag wrapped up like a military flag. showing just the avengers sign. and on metal tags screwed on to the bottom of the case read

"For Hawk Eye. Aka Clint Barton the love of Pietro Maximoff's life"

And it read on his sister's

"For our Scarlett witch aka Wanda Maximoff the sister of the greatest avenger ever, Pietro Maximoff aka QuickSilver."

Steve quickly comes to up hold our flags while we lowered the flag together.

We lowered it as the crowd chanted over and over.

"For Pietro"

Then we grabbed our flags from Steve and we looked at each other. we saluted and held our flags on our chest.

"For Pietro" we scream to the crowd putting our flags in the air.
