Gumball's P.O.V

"SIMONE!" I sat up quickly and frantically looked around. My eyes landed on a shaking and sweaty Marshall, thrashing around in my queen sized pink fluffed bed.

I sighed and straddled him quickly, holding his arms above his head till he went still and silent, the rise of his chest rigid.

I sighed again and looked down, my lips trembling. My breathing became quick and my vision was coming and going. I quickly got off of him and ran out onto the balcony, leaning over the pink railing and puking my guts out, tears going down my cheeks like race cars.

I sobbed and curled into a ball, each breath coming out harshly.

Breakdown. My third today. There was a pain in my chest; I couldn't breath anymore.

I ran back into our room and looked around frantically, shaking Marshall until he woke up. I felt bad about waking him up but this was serious. I couldn't breathe, for Glob's sake!

He groaned and rolled back over, falling back asleep. I started crying silently on the floor as I fell, my vision going black.

I woke up, my vision blurry and I was in a pink and white room. I clutched the papery sheets and soon found out I was in the Candy Kingdom infirmary.

"Oh, thank Glob, Gumball!" I heard Finn, Jake, and Peppermint Maid yell.

I smiled weakly. "Hey, g-guys."

They all hugged me and then everything got quiet.

"M-my Prince. We have some... news for you."

"And what is that?"

"Well, uh, it's Marshall..."

"What happened to him? What's wrong?"

"He, he ran back to the Nightosphere. We asked why and-" She paused and when she didn't start talking again, I got frustrated and tears ran down my cheeks.

"Tell me!" She flinched and shook.

"H-he said he never loved you and was going to marry someone else."

As those words shot out of her mouth, I felt an excruciating pain in my chest again and the sobs that racked through my body and poured out my throat sounded heartbreaking.

I was having a panic attack.

My life was over.

My heart was literally broken.

My life was torn apart.
