Calum and Luke and been best friends since anyone could remember. They would do everything together.

Calum had a secret though. He had to keep his secret in. He couldn't let Luke know that he was in love with him.

It started about 6 months ago when at first Calum would notice the little things that Luke would do and Calum thought that these little things were adorable. Since then Calum has slowly fallen in love with Luke Hemmings.

Right now Calum and Luke we're sitting on Luke's bed. Luke had a guitar and was just mucking around. Then Luke started strumming the chords to a song he had written and started singing.

Heartbreak Girl.

Calum's heart sunk being reminded that Luke was not into guys at all. But Calum continued to smile.

"Wow Luke you're actually so good!" Calum pointed out once Luke had finished playing the song.

Luke blushed and mumbled a thank you.

"Aww your cute when you blush." Calum blurted out eyes going wide when he realised what he said.

Now both of the boys faces were red as Luke mumbled another thanks.

It was silent for awhile. It wasn't a comfortable silence it was awkward.

"Um do you wanna play some video games or something?" Luke asked.

"Yeah sure."

"Ok great I'll go get some snacks do you want to set up the games?" Luke said walking out the door before waiting for an answer from Calum.

About 5 minutes later Luke came back with his hands full of chips and lollies and more junk food.

The boys decided to play FIFA. The score was 3-1 Calum's way.

Calum just scored another goal making it 4-1.

"That's not fucking fair!" Luke shouted.

"It is so! I'm just better than you!" Calum argued back.

"You are not! You suck!" Luke pouted.

"I what?" Calum asked with a smirk playing at his lips, "look at the score buddy."

"You're cheating. You suck!" Luke repeated.

"I do not." Calum said pouncing at Luke.

Before Luke knew what was going in Calum was on top of Luke tickling him. Calum thought that the giggles coming out of Luke mouth were the cutest thing ever.

"Say that I'm the best at FIFA way better than you and I'll stop." Calum said as. He stopped tickling Luke for a second.

"Never!" Luke shouted. Calum started tickling Luke again.

"Okay, okay you win! You're the best at FIFA Calum!" Luke said in between giggles. Calum stopped tickling Luke but didn't get off of him.

The boys eyes met making them freeze.

Calum didn't know if he was imaging Luke leaning in but he was defiantly closer than he was 5 seconds ago.

Luke lips brushed over Calum making him shiver. Calum connected their lips.

The kiss lasted all of 3 seconds. When Luke pulled away still staring at Calum.

"Luke I think I love you." Calum whispered.

Luke's eyes went wide he stayed silent.

"Luke please say something." Calum begged.

Calum jumped off Luke and sat on Luke's bed running his hands through his hair repeatedly muttering.

"Shit, shit shit."

"Cal." Luke said. Calum slowly looked over at Luke.

"I'm sorry I can't say I love you too." Calum died inside with those 9 words.

"I'm sor-" Calum started to say but Luke cut him off.

"But!" Luke said

"I can say that I am positive that I'm falling for you."

"What?!"

"I'm not there yet Calum but soon maybe. And maybe we could like try that again?" Luke questioned a blush creeping onto his checks.

Calum jumped off Luke bed and onto Luke reconnecting their lips.

This time the kiss lasted a lot longer.

"Calum?" Luke asked pulling his lips away from the dark haired boy.

Calum looked into Luke's eyes.

"Do you, um maybe want to go on a, umm, d-date with me?" Luke stuttered out.

"I'd love to Luke." Calum said pecking Luke lips.

Since that day it has been 2 months. Luke and Calum have been on 9 dates. After 3 weeks and after the 3rd date Calum asked Luke to be his boyfriend. Luke happily said yes. After 5 weeks and 6 dates Luke fell in love with Calum. After 6 weeks and 7 dates Luke told Calum he loved him. Calum has been the happiest person alive since that day.
